I wonder if that's a condition of Kyoraku's tempermental zanpakuto that the rules of various games have to be agreed upon before katen kyōkotsu will "play".

Used to think of it that way too, but I guess that's not necessary after all. (though it sounds logical)

BLEACH WIKI:

telling Starrk that Katen Kyōkotsu makes the rules, and that those who step into the domain of her Reiatsu, including himself, are forced to obey those rules. However, he is not required to tell his opponents about the rules that are applied for his Takaoni and Kageoni attacks

From the wiki:

telling Starrk that Katen Kyōkotsu makes the rules

so Katen Kyōkotsu is quite a selfish Zanpakutō.

What if one of the rule is to tell the other rules?

And this "game" is little different. As fair I understand, you have to only touch someone to kill him. Maybe the more risky game is, the more rules should be explained?

Well, I want to think that by explaining rules Kyouraku makes an enemy do certain things. Kyouraku isn't the guy that play fair, so explaining rules should give him some advantages.

i also don't get the game can someone explain the rules more clearly the rules?

Have you ever heard of the game "red light green light"

Here's the explanation

The "It" must stand at the end of the field while everyone's behind him/her

The players must tag the 'It".

The "It" will recite "Daruma san ga Koronda" if he recites it fully he/she will turn around, whoever the "it" saw moving becomes "it"

If not the players will be sent back to the starting line then the "it" still remains the "It"

Dya get it?

I need my Aizen Kubes, it's the only thing that gets me hyped in this manga anymore

and there are probably a lot of people like me seeing the hype when he returned.

Great chapter. The last fight with Kurotsuchi was pretty on point. Hopefully this one feels the same way.

I hope that I'm not the only one who is still waiting Ichigo to show his "full power" that he gained after Zangetsu lifted his restriction on Ichigo

This was also on my mind. To me it feels like it has been over 100 chapters since Ichigo has done anything noteworthy. Not that I really care one way or another though. After he unintentionally went full hollow against Ulquiorra a few years ago, his character basically plateaued in terms of how interesting his character/powers were. At least to me.

Unless his new bankai causes him to sprout horns, and shoot ceros out of said horns, then he's the last character I want to see in a fight.
