And it surprised me actually that Mayuri is out of ideas for the fight. And that despide being so prideful, he's letting Nemu fight instead of him.

I didn't even remember Mayu existed before this fight. This is so pointless.

She had not a single fight untill now, her character for 640 chapters consisted of a stoic stand on the sidelines hot chick.

"Everything " she ever did to progress the plot was to beg Uryu once not to go after Mayuri and give him the anitdote die and get revived immediately again.



That´s all Nemu did in 640 chapters with her screentime.

OOH noo hot chick sidecharacter no 5 dies.



Let her die and do something at least.Call me crazy but I think Nemu will end up with Uryū (love interest {she resembles Ishida mother}) and they had already a brief history interacting with each other...



I also don’t think Tite would let Mayuri die (he can revert back some of the gotei personnel that turned into zombies) + He also has a history with  Uryū  (defeated in combat by him and also experimented on quinces  {indirect role in Sōken's death }) Now think about this, thanks to this chapter we confirm that Nemu is Mayuri biggest creation (daughter) he cear a lot for her in his own way, now imagine that your daughter decide to date a person who is polar opposite of what you think is best for her (Mayuri first daddy issues {que the comedy moments) as well as procreate a child with the enemy (quinces & shinigamis are rivals {que more comedy moments}) but at the same time his daughter achieves the very thing that he was aiming for living a healthy life and being able create a new live (like any normal female would) thus making him a proud tsundere Papa.



That is why I think Tite is not going to let her die or Mayuri die. Now let’s picture this scenario Ishida saving Mayuri would be a salt in the wound moment or if Ishida were to intervene to save Nemu sometimes in anime & manga being in debt = blossoming relationship…



Oh well, regardless of my wild speculations I don’t think Kubo would let anything bad happen to those 2.

And explain why this wouldn't be valid when there's report of a lot of similar case in the real world? There's a lot of abusive parents that mistreat their children both physically and mentally  thinking they're doing them a favor.You don't get it he doesn't treasure her as a daughter he treasures her as the culmination of his life's research. Doing physical damage to her doesn't bother him as long as the research is still intact, but he cannot bear to have the research COMPLETELY DESTROYED. Is it fucked up? Yes. But it still makes sense.

Not original at all, I was hoping about of something not predictable like this, very predictable especially from Kubo, but it wasn't a bad chapter.

Kubo obviouslu doesnt know what he's doing anymore. I cant think of a fight that could be less interesting.  Nemu, a character that barely made any appearence throughout the series and has no importance, have been like the MC of the series for last 1.5 month. At this rate, we will hopefully see Ichigo's new-earned powers(its been so long since that happened that I think even Kubo forgot about he gave Ichigo a power up) next year

Right here Right Fing here. This dude treated her like crap from the start till right now. Im suppose to go "oh he cared about here all this time" do they think we are stupid or something. This is a straight up bum pull. I just want this fight over already and if it ends up killing  Mayuri then cool.

Finally some background information about Nemu and reason why she is so loyal to that Crazy SOB Kurotsuchi.



So...There has been 6 other Nemu's...and they were good for medical studies and able to make Kurotsuchi captain?

Why I am seeing that when Nemu Dies Kurotsuchi will get seriously pissed off?

Nemu is looking quite amazing now and it was great to see some of her past. I wonder how the Mayuri/Nemu relationship will develop from now on...
