It says a lot about the current state of bleach that the chapter discussion has turned into a naruto vs bleach thread. honestly kubo is really started to outdo himself with how utterly terrible and stupid these chapters have become. there is literally no conceivable plot or story lines playing out it's just a bunch of fights in a row against villains with no character development and terrible dialogue. Honestly even the fights have been pretty lame.



also for the record naruto > bleach it's not even a contest there's not even a storyline in this manga anymore and no one gives a fuck about what happens to any of the characters.

Plus bleach is also a a character driven story, gtfo >

Maaaan... after all that hype I give to naruto's final 2 and one piece intense chapter, I read bleach only to see ouetsu which was being ultra badass in the past chapter getting one-shot just like that. I read the chapter like only 30 seconds or less... talking about disappointment.. :(

Man I couldn't even remember what Rukia and Renji were up to.



Well it's a Bleach chapter as any other. Not much to say really.

If we're talking about female characters of importance, I'd say Naruto fares a bit better than Bleach in this department. It's anime only, but Guren was a pretty compelling villain and while Naruto isn't necessary full of important female chars, I feel most of the ones that were there weren't treated poorly or damsel'd just because (heck, even Sakura had a few great moments, before Kishi decided to completely forget about her or the fact that she's a main).
