ugh...why does Kubo always bring back lame characters that no one cares about?

That is no character inconsistency, that is Mayuri being a troll as usual. Of course he gives no shit about killing those guys but he wanted to show his new toys.

Would it be possible for Starrk to split his soul again and restore Lilinette? Then again it would probably be cruel if he died and She was left alone inheriting his memories and gaining huge power up.
Also where is Kenpachi? Wanted to ask that few chapters ago. Lightning girl was very happy using aoe attacks fighting Ichigo so was Kenpachi evaporated or just prayed to not get hit and is being taken somewhere by Isane to heal?
It can be argued that their aspect of death is solitude so it wouldn't be anything new for them, but I don't think it is possible. Lilynette is a part of his soul so she wouldn't be able to survive without his for long. It's an interesting thought though. I reckon if Starrk was still alive he'd be able to do some real damage to these quincy girls. He just had a poor match up with Kyouraku and I feel we never really got to see him go all out. His complete lack of motivation and disinterest in fighting also played a part.
I guess Kenpachi would still be on the ground from where Candice electrocuted him and Meninas power punched him. He definitely is still alive. Last we saw of Isane she was taking Rose and Kensei's bodies to safety so it is possible that she found Zaraki and is presently attending to his injuries. Maybe.

Grimmjow is an Espada. That means he is at least Captain level, and I'm taking into account his strength back in the Arrancar arc. He's obviously gotten a lot more powerful since then. If he ever comes back, he won't be fighting inferior trash like the femritters obviously. That would be downplaying him! I suspect Renji will lose to Bazz- B and that's where Grimmjow will come in if he ever makes an appearance.
