Bleach Chapter 573 Discussion

Okay this should be a quick review, not much happened. First of all this kid is screwed, you drew the wrong opponent. It looks like this fight is just going to showcase Kenpachi and his newly found power. It won't be a one shot, but I think Zaraki is going to dominate this fight and there won't be a moment when it looks like he is going to lost.



And Unahana is confirmed dead, Kubo you idiot. I know you want to kill off all the old guard to let the new generation take over, but come on.



An okay chapter even though I am angry about Unahana.

I knew he would survive that attack by Kenpachi though. Still, this is going to get all type of violent. Hi Kenpachi.

Well, that was short.

Why is it that a single Kenpachi chapter can brighten up my day this much?

More progression would be nice, I really liked every single over-sized panel in this chapter but it's starting to get frustrating to see it end after what feels like 5 pages.



And this quincy's powers could be interesting. If he truly created the fake Quincy that lost against Yachiru, he should be able to conjure up a fake "Aizen", a fake "Ulquiorra", a fake "Yamamoto" and about a dozen fake "Juha Bachs" and pit them against Kenpachi.



... but still there's no tension, I simply cannot imagine Kenpachi loosing at this stage. This fight feels less like a fight and more like a tech-demo to showcase Kenpachi's awesomeness...

Too few panels per chapter and they don't really cover much ground at all. That felt like a third of chapters worth.



Seriously the entire story of Bleach could have been told in half the amount of chapters just by having more panels and dialogue per chapter.But then it wouldn't be Bleach. Not every single manga has to be the same.





It would still be Bleach. They could have told the exact same story without missing out anything in half the amount of chapters under a more efficient mangaka.No it wouldn't. What you are asking is for the paneling to change. The paneling is one of the most important parts of Bleach.



The reason why the chapter was short is because Bleach has alot of 1-3 panel pages.

Kenpachi is too badass

Hopefully this fight against Sternritter V would prove to be more entertaining than I would expect it to be...
