Well at least now it's confirmed that Uryu is pure blooded Quincy.

Nope, it is confirmed he has 'some power' to surpass Bach's 'holly selection'.

I actually thought this confirmed that he is NOT pure blooded and the fact that he survived anyway makes him special.

You DO Know that Kubo said that the last arc will be LONGER than previous "long arc"

You do remember that "previous long arc" lasted for around 7 or 8 years, right?

This arc has no right to be any more than 100 or so more chapters. the story of bleach simply doesn't have the depth it takes to last 8 more years especially considering there are manga who have had more happen in less than 50 chapters than bleach has had happen in over 500.  If this is true then I guess I'll have to drop bleach at some point seeing as I have better things to do than watch characters with no depth or development fight until I'm 30 years old. things were looking up for bleach but now its just a joke again.

Exactly. This show is running off fumes at this point. All the Bleach fanboys will look over the fact that this last chapter did nothing at all but provide even more questions which the people obsessed with Bleach will perceive as good writing when in actuality it isn't. Like I've said before, just because there are 100 plot twists doesn't mean that the story is good, it just proves that Kubo has no clue where the actual story is going. Think about it. Why are mangas that have 100 chapters as opposed to a 1000 are better? The fact that the writers of the 100 chapters have more time to actually think about the story and develop whereas these long running manga writers change their story so often because it has been going on for 10+ years.

Really, at this point I'm just reading Bleach because if I were to stopped now then I've wasted the last 9 years on it.

3 cheers to hoping Kubo can redeem this manga.

That's true tho, everyone's gonna keep an eye on Uryu now. So there's not much he can do.

Ugh I actually hope they show what Urahara is doing this time and don't cut away.

And what about Uryuu father? He didn't lose his Quincy powers either? So he wouldn't be the only one not effected. Does Uryuu not care that the "selection" led to his mothers death?

I feel like this power boost uryuu is recieving is just so he will be strong enough to wield yamamoto's bankai in the event Juhabach dies in battle and/or from whatever illness he seems to have. Also, did anyone else question how yuzu and karin survived the holy selection? They're all mixed bloods too. In fact they should have all the latent powers and abilities ichigo has but none of the other characters, save for maybe urahara, seems to acknowledge their potential.

Anyway, it looks like chad and orihime got some more training in while traveling through heuco mundo, but just like the other arcs its probably not going be of much use. In both the arrancar and fullbring arcs they implied that they went through training and were much stronger than before. They even gave speeches about how they were never going to get in the way again/ become strong enough to fight by ichigo's side. But despite all their hard work and new found resolve they never seem to make any progress and they always need saving....

Not much happened in this chapter really. Those new characters have horrific names yet again: Kubo should really research foreign names a bit more before he makes up these characters.

Agreed.

I honestly don't care about any of those Stern Ritters.

They're all going to be defeated eventually anyway.

I always like seeing more of Chad though.

Lots of talk about Grimmjow.

Let's just say I wouldn't oppose it if that happened.
