Hold the phone if "Zangetsu" was the manifestation of his Quincy powers and the hollow part of him combined with his zanpakuto are a different part of him entirely what on earth was that whole thing about hollow ichigo combining with Zangetsu way back when to teach him the final getsuga tensho?

lol they already explained in that same chapter that the reason ishida was able to use ichigo to power up his bow was because ichigo had terrible spiritual control and was unknowingly leaking a bunch of energy for ishida to absorb. That had nothing to do with ichigo being a quincy or old man being the embodiment of his quincy powers. Stop picking bits and pieces of unrelated past scenes and trying to pass them off as foreshadowing. This is wrong. Uryuu said it was impossible for him to have that much reiatsu all the time. It's even the chapter where they illustrate the difference between Shinigami and Quincy methods of using reiatsu (Shinigami are supposed to fight like this ->->->, and Quincy are supposed to fight like this<-<-<-.) The whole reason Ichigo had so much reiatsu was not because he was some kind of prodigy Shinigami, it's because he was absorbing surrounding reiatsu like a Quincy (I don't think the fact that this concept was directly referenced in this chapter is a coincidence.)

"If he can't control his power, it means he's not using his power." -Uryuu, Ch. 49

It was setup even MORE obviously in the Fullbring arc in preparation for this one. Ichigo's first Fullbring throwing thingy (The projectile) is shaped like a Quincy cross. The new Zanpakuto resembles an enlarged Quincy blade.

That could have just as easily been "foreshadowing" the true nature of the substitute shinigami badge instead. One of the badges main function is to seal his spirit energy while he is in human form. Therefore he would only be leaking out energy in spirit form and the rest of the time its just building up inside of him. And the swastika shape on his zanpakuto and first fullbring form is the kanji for "ban" as in the first charater in the word bankai(卍解).

Also his new zanpakuto looks more like a fusion between the original and his fullbring sword. It does bare some resemblance to Ywach's blade, but that connection is still very vague. Right now it doesn't really make sense to say that his fullbring, a power that comes from his human and hollow reiatsu, made his sword more quincy like.

If you guys think this is some super plot twist, and didn't see this coming when we first saw Juha, then you really don't pay attention much when you read manga.

Well this is considered a plot twist, though what separates it from a bad plot twist is the fact that it has foreshadowing, and a damn good foreshadowing.

My question now is.... if Zangestu wasn't his Shinigami Powers, once he gains his TRUE Shinigami powers couldn't the Qunices steal his Bankai?

They've both been there since the start of the manga. Hollow Ichigo and Zangetsu were always ONE, Zangetsu was the dominant one over Ichigo's Shinigami powers through most of the series. Trying to keep the REAL Zangetsu at bay to help Ichigo control his Shinigami & Hollow powers. As for why Ichigo could only use Quincy powers till after he broke Kirge's cage... is a different matter...

I really don't understand if all of you are being sarcastic or actually liked the chapter, but personally I enjoyed reading it.
