So Yhwach is the ancestor of all quincy, huh? Believable, I suppose..but what I'd like to know is--how is he, a human, still alive, with that age?

Yea. I think Ishida is just surprised there are dozens of quincies running around and wants to find out what's going on.

Does it bother none of you that Ichigo has:

1. Shinigami powers

2. Hollow powers

3. Fullbring powers

4. QUINCY POWERS?! (since he lost his zanpakto)

I mean come on! What's next? Soul King powers?

Well, that aside,

What the hell? I knew Juha Bach was some bad ass guy but him being the father of all quincys? What were the people in Sereitei thinking? Oh he's asleep, let's not fucking bother killing him cause there is no possible way of him returning and destroying more than half our fucking army.

And why did Aizen refuse? Could this be a reference to him being a quincy aswell? Ye, he might've lost his powers cause of what Juha Bach did but seeing how the plot twists and twists I wouldn't be surprised to see it happening.

aaaaand on the other side of the river you have Ishida Uryuu. I don't think he joined him to destroy Sereitei or anything. I think he's there purely for the fact of knowing more about what he did to his mother and what their motive is. Since he's some sort of smartass who thinks he is damn strong but gets his ass handed to him so many times. In the end he's gonna be captured by Juha Bach, Ichigo get's some new powers (how original...) saved Uryuu, kills Juha Bach and everyone lived happily ever after. (or some new villian comes and Ichigo gets new powers!)

Kubo Tite, please end this manga properly.

so, through the blood of every quincy flows Juha Bach's sperm...that quite the information

so he fucked every quincy girl and went in a 900 years comma from dehydration and fatigue...makes you wonder if his sexual preferences have changed during his hibernation as well.

he prob has a thing for blondie too, god knows that mustache makes him out to be some kind of sexual predator :))

For anyone who's wondering about why Juha Bach chose whoever he chose.

In the Manga Stream version Isshin said: "Juha Bach selected all those he deems impure" So it's not necessarily Pure blood in the full meaning of the word. It's subjective to his idea of pure and impure which is also a good reason why he chose Masaki as well.

Pretty much this.

It wasn't an objective choice, it was a selection.

Since Ishida is not a pure blood quincy and survived the selection, we can ascertain that the holy selection do not arbitrary kill every quincy that isn't a pure blood quincy but rather only those that Bach choose.

Thus we can also ascertain that the reason Ichigo survived the holy selection is not because he is a pure blood quincy (which he cannot be, because his dad isn't a quincy).

Blut is a skill that pure blood quincy are born with but that any quincy can learn on it's own given proper training. They referred to 'training' but it's not as simple as a 'Try to do it 2 time a week and in 10 years you'll be able to do it' training.

Genius will be able to pick it up extremely fast even if they aren't pure blood quincy while less talented quincy might take all their life to train and would still be unable to do it.

Another evidence that Ichigo is not a pure blood quincy is that he never used Blut before he faced Juha Bach.

He is a genius that managed to pull off the technique by seeing how it work (In his fight against the quincy, Kirge was it?) as well as the detailed explanation from Urahara on how it works. He just did what he always have been doing : Mastering something in a very short amount of time.
