Weird as it sounds, the villain is often the better source of information, because it makes for better drama from a narrative sense. Plus I have my doubts that Kubo is really spilling one of the biggest secrets this early in the arc.
Remember, Juha Bach had something to tell Ichigo before but ran out of time (For dramatic purposes.) Do you think he was just going to tell Ichigo what Isshin said?
