I think that Uryu isn't betraying them for the simple fact of the pattern that Kubo has set up. Orihime joined Aizen to protect her friends. Chad joined Xcution to help Ichigo, and now Uryu joined  the Quincy's. Also Uryu's character would not allow him to betray any of his friends or help the man who murdered his mother since we saw what he did to mayuri for his grandfather.

So Masaki died not only because of Grandfisher but from Juha Bach stealing the power from her since she's a mixed-blood quincy. Katagiri happened to be Uryu's mother as expected. "His blood flows in every quincy" - even Ichigo's. Well shit... xD



Aww hell no, Uryu don't side with Juha Bach! Fuark... Expecting a Ichigo VS Uryu fight now. This will be awesome. Also, I'm seriously hoping we'll finally see Grimmjow's full appearance now that we're finished with the flashback arcs, which were very good as well

that reminds me if Ichigo rebels against Juha Bach's call of blood then he might die instantly by Juha Bach's using the Holy Selection again



or maybe Juha Bach cannot use Holy Selection on pure quincies or their is a huge time cooldown for that skill

I don't think he can do this whenever he wants and I wouldn't be sure that it would work on a hybrid like Ichigo.



Very good Chapter. Now the backstory is told. But really confusing that Ichida is with Bach. It was just a matter of time when he would appear, but I can't imagine that he would side with the person who killed his mother. That means if he even knows that. Nevertheless Kubo keeps it interesting.

Yeah, came here to say something similar. Ichigo is related to some old quincy who calls him son when he really isn't his father and the same with Yusuke and his demon ancestor.

I'm surprised. When his betrayal was shown, I speculated everyone would just assume that he's doing it for Ichigo's sake.

He doesn't really seem like the type of guy to betray Ichigo, and even if he does, it'll end with Ichigo saving him. Doubt they'd even have much of a fight.
