I'm impressed Kubo, he's covering a lot of plot holes lately

remember kids:

mystery =/= plothole.

Its only a plothole if it goes against already established facts, logic and reason.

Unexplained stuff or stuff that is left intentionally vague to be brought back latter is just a mystery.

Tensa Zangetsu recreated with the spirit technique. Return to SS, free Aizen and through the hogyoku wish that the old Tensa Zangetsu gets repaired........profit.

Most likely RG will show Ichigo how to repair the sword, expecting Ichigo's gratitude and services for that, to make him their pawn of sorts or something due  to whatever circumstances surround his existence.

But of course in true bleach fashion something happens that makes everyone look at the events in entirely different way(for example a reveal o the truth behind the quincy massacre or why that war happened, or for example, Ichigo getting a glimpse of Soul King).

Of course considering what Urahara encouraged Ichigo, he will most likely just do what he feels is right instead of following them out of gratitude/fear/whatever and will stick to his ideals.

Cue an epic team  up of Ginjou, Aizen, Ichigo and Grimmjaw, with Aizen and Ichigo double-teaming Juha first(by now I am pretty convinced that Ichigo will be a key-figure at establishing a peace between the two races, instead of yet another genocide)  and possibly soul king for the final fight.

FUCK YES!!!!! GRIMMJOW HAS RETURNED! "IS THAT KUROSAKI? YO KUROSAKI YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"  THANK YOU!

Also, Ginjo, Tsukishima and that King Bradley Fullbringer? Everything just got real (at least now we know who died in that arc. Ichigo's, Byakuya's and Kenpachi's opponents)

Ichigo at the Soul Palace!? Also, most definitely related with the Shiba Clan...

This chapter makes all those years of Bleach feel worth it.

THANK YOU!

@Fai

(dunno what's wrong with quotes so bear with it and please try to correspond my answers accordingly)

-Just today I reread both series of chapters in which grand fisher has appeared. I don't know if the translated version I was reading was at fault or not but I would like to know what is your reference for saying "Grand fisher knows of Ichigo's origins". I've seen you say that before and I have no idea what you are talking about.

-Same goes for what you said about Rukia. When did we ever see such a flashback of her being in Karakura town and not remembering?

-So going by the assumption that the -getsu swords are connected maybe THAT's what Ichigo will find out in RP and have him realise how important Aizen's knowledge is (to be honest I didn't connect said dots between Suigetsu and Zangetsu, nice catch actually)

-I honestly hope that if Bach's wife dying is an actual important event it will be portrayed as the last straw being pulled and not the actual reason behind the war.

We know Ginjou died though, so unless some other plothax thing was used to bring him back from the dead, I think he just ended up in Soul Society.

Which Is why I am restraining myself from any sort of speculation of how they are there.

Others make sense because of the ambiguity of how they died(Time guy never really used his power in his full form, Tsukishima was ambiguous end enough). There are suspicions and all with Ichigo retrieving Ginjou's body, so I guess all that is possible is to wait and see on what kind of explanation it is.

I think we are missing something though. If I recall Ginjou was in the body the whole time throughout the whole arc. If it were a gegai wouldn't he have to get out of it to use all his powers and such? Although same goes for how he uses his Shinigami powers + Fullbring so it kind of confuses me more.

The only thing I can really say is that they said "Ichigo was not the first" and that Ginjou was the first substitute shinigami, so maybe they were alike in more ways then one? Speculating of course, help me out here with anything I missed.

Rather than bringing back dead character it's more like he's bringing back people which death weren't sure.

You're obviously missing something here, one of the basics of the world of Bleach. What happens when a human dies in the real world? All 3 of these guys are humans, and they with no doubt died (Why the hell would Ichigo go to retrieve Ginjou's body then?), and they went to SS after dying, it's as simple as that. There might a bit more to it than that especially since Ginjou is a substitute shinigami, but the other 2 obviously died and went to SS.

Hmmm im either misunderstanding something or your mixing up the time lines. When Gin was a kid he got brought into SS and became somewhat of a prodigy as the youngest who ever "graduated", during that time Aizen  wasn't even a captain yet and Ichgio wasn't even known about and Urahara just made captain rank. Years later Ichigo comes along but by that point Gin had grown up under Aizen and clearly was more powerful then most others in SS and had several times played around with Ichigo never really taking those fights seriously. MY problem is Gin was watching Ichigo and knew how powerful he was yet Gin never even used his true bankai against him and still thrashed him pretty easily. Think back to the last time the two fought Gin beat him down to the point he stopped to tell a story and told him he was disappointed in Ichigo's abilities so while sure he isn't Azien level i would put him among the top level members in SS. The real problem is nobody knows just how strong Gin was because he never really got any fights in and it was never really mentioned short of calling him a prodigy similar to byakuya so that was massively disappointing.

Im still hoping for the royal palace pop that would be amazing especially if it was like last page nothing but the Gin face and something similar to "did you really think i died back then". Not to mention i still want to see where the rangiku/gin story was going i mean clearly there was love between the two and they knew each other since they were kids but that story got cut really short. Not sure how i would feel about resurrected kid gin unless there was something that let you know clearly that it was Gin.

What I'm basically saying is that Gin is weaker than Isshin, Urahara and Yoruichi, he was a new shinigami (and a kid) when Aizen trolled everyone and when those 3, who can also be considered as some of Bleach's strongest people as well as the most mysterious, were captains (we still don't know Isshin's whereabouts at that time). Aizen defeated these 3 when he gained a power-up, after  that he got another 2 power-ups and got way stronger than he was before and killed Gin, who was weaker than those 3 (If you want to compare him to Byakuya, Byakuya wasn't able to even beat Yoruichi in flash-steps, so there's no way Gin could be stronger than any of these 3)

Anyway here's my guess after reading this chapter:

Bach is Ichigo's grandfather from Masaki's side.

Isshin is Kuukaku's uncle which make Ichigo cousin to Kuukaku, Ganju and Kaien.

Isshin should have been the one to take upon the Shiba house but because he got himself involved with Masaki, it was seen as a disgrace and the house 'fallen'.

Ryuuken is Bach's descendant, so is Ishida.

A long time ago Bach had a child. This child created the lineage we now knows as the Uryuu family. Only a few decades ago did Bach had another child: Masaki

I wouldn't be surprised if one of those 'magic hunters' that were mentionned in the past was Bach.

Something have been bugging me though: Grandfisher.

He wasn't strong but he had something hollow do not have : A will.

I wonder if there's not any hidden reason as to why Masaki died.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And Aizen is Ichigo's Uncle and Isshin's brother?That would certainly explain his sword ending with -getsu, as well as why he knew everything about Ichigo.

As for Ishida family, yeah, figures they should have some connection to Bach, since going by what Kirge said, Ishida family name is quite well known there. Maybe they are from side of Bach's wife? THinking of it, where IS his wife? Could it be that her death was actually the reason for the whole quincy/shinigami shitstorm back then?

As for Grandfisher - we know that Rukia was in Karakura before this, but for some reason someone erased her memory of ever going there(that was hinted and said in the prelude chapter which shows Rukia's day before events of Chapter 1)

Could very well be that during her first stay she saw something, relating to either:

1) Ichigo's birth.

2) Masaki's murder.

If its the option 2), I would not put it past it for Squad Zero being actual reason on why Masaki died - as in they came and stabbed the hell out of her when she had her attention on Grand Fisher. WHich would ALSO explain on why Grand Fisher had a good idea on Ichigo's bloodline.

@Candor

We already had - Someone getting slashed by a zanpakuto is the same as soul burial/purification - that is why shinigami kill hollows and not poke them in the head with the hilt.

Its just that it kills:

- complex hollows because they literally "are legion" to paraphrase religion.

- Anyone who is already a spirit

- Anyone who is not human(as in arrancars, pureblood quincies).

@Kanic

Quotes and overall bb code is disabled due to the whole hacking stuff that has been going on.

I think it was in Isshin's confrontation with Grand Fisher. Grand Fisher seeing Isshin goes "oh i see, so he(Ichigo) is of true blood" or something like that.

Rukia's hint was in Chapter -1, I think,(the prequel chapter) - Rukia is preparing to go to Karakura as she is being stationed there and someone comments on how "cool" it is for her to go twice to real world already and she acts completely confused saying that its her first time and that she never was at Karakura before.

As for -getsu - getsu literally stands for moon and we ONLY have three moon themed swords in the manga - Engetsu("Crescent/Sharp Moon"), Zangetsu(Slaying/Slashing Moon) and Kyoka Suigetsu(Mirror Flower Water Moon) - all three of swords being essentially named as Moon of different charateristics. What's more - Aizen's sword name is reminiscent of Ichigo's bankai name(Heavenly Chain Slaying Moon)

Two of the sword owners are connected and two of the swords share techniques and principles of how they work. The owner of third sword , Aizen, keeps a honorable tone when talking to Isshin, is just as overpowered as the other two and LITERALLY knows everything about the other two.

EDIT: Is it just me or the meaning behind Tensa Zangetsu name pretty much foreshadows a confrontation with Soul King(Since Soul King has been defined as a "lynch pin of the universe"  - as in "heavenly chains" that bind everything into the whole)?
