such an awesome chapter and i'm so happy to see that the fullbringer arc wasn't a complete waste lol. Though it does raise another question.

Now that ginjou is back doesn't he also need to have his bankai repaired? I remember it breaking during the fight with ichigo. Or was ginjou actually using his bankai power via his fullbring sense he was in human form at the time. That means couldn't he technically have an alternate bankai form(his true bankai) when in soul reaper mode? I hope i'm right because it would be awsome to see him fight using his inverted bankai(similar to ichigo's current bankai, zapakuto dominant/ fullbring passive). Also what was the motive behind the Xcution fight to begin with? What did they need Ichigo's power for? Unlike other antagonist their main goal wasn't to rebel against SS( none of them but Ginjou really had a reason to hate SS). I wonder, if this hidden motive will come into play or was it just never specified and lost within poor writing of that arc.

I would not be surprised on if it connects back to Soul KIng.

Ginjo, just like Aizen, coincidentally discovered something that made him turn against SS - feel like SS betrayed his trust. We never did find out on WHAT exactly happened, so I guess we will.

Why did I know this was going to happen?

I just got this feeling that the Fullbringers were going to come back somehow. But I guess they only made Tsukishima and Ginjo come, where's Riruka and Yukio ;_;?

I would not be surprised on if the final battlefield ends up being Karakura Town(as we found out the reason why that town is so special). If so, then I guess they will show up too in the big damn heroes fashion that Kubo loves so much to do.

EDIT:

Can't wait till we revisit Rukia's memory gap too. (for those who do not know, in the prequel chapter, which has shown Rukia's moments before she got assigned to Karakura, it was implied that she was in Karakura town before but mysteriously, somehow, she does not remember anything about that). It has either to do with Ichigo's birth or with Masaki's death, most likely.

Uncle?....I swear Kubo needs to post some family trees, although i'm sure not even he knows because they are probably thought of at the last minute and not planned. Sigh, I also wish he hadn't brought those fullbringer users back, they just need to be swept under the rug and forgotten about.

^OR the kuukaku cannon IS the royal key...boy would that be a shocker. My first thought, but destroying Karakura town to make a Kukaku cannon sounded too ridiculous (and funny) to me.

During the Soul Society arc I remember how the cannon was used to let Ichigo and the others through the special Sekkiseki barrier, but they needed a special cannonball for that. Perhaps Aizen didn't have the cannonball of the right size and the right density.

...the cannon sure feels like half the key in any case.

Glad to see Fullbringers back in action, especially Tsukishima, I love that guy.

Btw Ginjo looks bad ass, he changed a lot.

Hmm, if Isshin is the "uncle" it might seem that Isshin might not approve of Ichigo going to royal palace.

As far as the family tree goes, I think Isshin is Ganju's and Kukkaku's uncle. Which would make Kaein Shiba, Ichigo's cousin. That could explain why they are so alike in looks and somewhat in personality. But this theory is still so convoluted due to Juha Bach being introduced.

I agree with the Voile_Grace, Kubo needs to post a family tree ._.

If Juha meant "Son" in metaphorical sense(as in all quincies are his "children") that makes sense - Juha would be Ichigo's grandpa from Masaki's side.

I am not sure that works that way with people who are already sort-of spiritual beings. We'll have to wait and see I guess, but this is certainly intriguing.

Even if they were sort of spiritual, they still are humans. I'm guessing it would work the same for Chad and Orihime as well. It only makes sense that their souls move onto the soul society.

There are problems with that, because.

1. Those who go to SS after death usually have everything about them reset.

2. That would mean that they would not have the same clothes and be in rukongai-standard rags.

3. They would not have the memories.

4. They would not have their powers(which they clearly do since Tsukishima has his sword)

Not to mention that:

1. Ginjou was already a shinigami.

2. Killing them and letting them run loose in SS would be counter-productive.

We know Ginjou died though, so unless some other plothax thing was used to bring him back from the dead, I think he just ended up in Soul Society.

Which Is why I am restraining myself from any sort of speculation of how they are there.

Others make sense because of the ambiguity of how they died(Time guy never really used his power in his full form, Tsukishima was ambiguous end enough). There are suspicions and all with Ichigo retrieving Ginjou's body, so I guess all that is possible is to wait and see on what kind of explanation it is.

I think we are missing something though. If I recall Ginjou was in the body the whole time throughout the whole arc. If it were a gegai wouldn't he have to get out of it to use all his powers and such? Although same goes for how he uses his Shinigami powers + Fullbring so it kind of confuses me more.

The only thing I can really say is that they said "Ichigo was not the first" and that Ginjou was the first substitute shinigami, so maybe they were alike in more ways then one? Speculating of course, help me out here with anything I missed.Ginjou is a human, he used his powers while he's still in his human form , he never had any Gigai. He was probably able to use his bankai and shinigami powers in his human form because he had a FB, same thing with Ichigo, I don't remember Ichigo going out of his body while fighting Ginjou.

That is a good observation... So I'm guessing with the FB powers comes the ability to wield Shinigami powers even in your human form. I completely forgot this whole time after Ichigo was stabbed and had his powers returned he was still in his human body. The question I have though is if Ginjou does have both shinigami and FB powers does that mean he first became a FB and learned the ways of the Shinigami?
