Am i the only one who really doesn't want to see grimmjow again? I mean really he isn't that strong of a fighter, he was a lower ranked member of Aizen's army, every fight with Ichicgo he lost or ran away from and overall is not interesting at all. Ok you have big dreams of become a vasto lorde but it's been how long and you have done nothing or is it going to be one of those surprise i am uber powerful moments. Personally i say ditch that whole character and leave his last scene as being beaten and bloody then if people want to guess if he lived or not ok.

Since we are bringing back the dead can someone explain why Gin is not back? He died in such a pathetic way that it makes no sense for him not to come back. I mean let's look at it he got an arm chopped off and slashed across the chest.......ok grimmjow lost an arm and orihime replaced it, ichigo got sliced and diced repeatedly and always gets healed so how did Gin die from those minor wounds? I mean even byakuya who got torn to ribbons by his own bankai is going to live and he was on the verge of death for what 4-5 chapters how is it fair that he will come back stronger then ever when Gin who played such a huge role since the beginning just died in an alley.

Can't help but think these chapters are being written for fan flavor characters instead of ones that are intricate to the story. No way a random low rank panther deserves to be in the final arc while a guy who helped with the rise and fall of the Gotei, rise and fall of Aizen after simply gets dropped.

Hahaha. Grimmjow is back. Awesome :D.

One thing I'm really puzzling over is the fact that if it's so easy to get to the Soul King realm via Kuukaku's cannon, why didn't Aizen just hijack and use the cannon? o_O Would have been much easier than a century of planning, waiting and going through the whole winter war just to make the King's Key :P.

Grimmjow suffered for tens or hundreds of years to reach the Vasto Lorde, and when he fought Ichigo he wasn't able to reach it yet. Grimmjow coming back as a Vasto Lorde is pretty reasonable. That's of course, if he did turn into one.

The battles in Bleach is a battle of Reiatsu, Gin was one-shotted by Aizen, a god-tier character at Yamamoto's level, or even stronger after those transforms, so a slash from Aizen is way too much stronger than a slash from Nnoitra or Ulquiorra for example. (I'd love it if he comes back, but Gin is pretty much dead, as well as Tousen)

Well i think were giving Grimmjow to much credit here since nobody knows how long he was in HM but i would argue that he really wasn't suffering. When we first learn of his past we know he was an Adjuchas, become king of a gang of other Adjuchas, then proceeded to eat 3k hollows before his gang quits and goes well we already knew you were the pst and you would make it. After that he is already with Aizen so who knows time frame wise what that meant but by that point one would assume he would have been doing alright for himself. your right though he fought Ichigo 3-4 times and sure he wasn't at his "potential" ( man i feel like im going DBZ here) but neither was Ichigo and yet Grimmjow still could not win. That's the other thing if he makes Vasto Lorde great but at this point we don't even know if he did it and either way we know it means another Ichigo fight and i am willing to bet that again Grimmjow will lose so what's the point?

For the second part yes i agree a hit from Aizen packs a wallop but again it was an arm cut off and one cut across the chest there really is no reason the arm couldn't be replaced and the slash healed, not like Aizen cut him in half it was simply a slash. I just cannot believe such a character who impacted a lot of events that shaped the Gotei/Aizen's army/Aizen's downfall was left to die in an alley when another character that lost every single fight he has been shown in is walking around like nothing happened. I was fine with Halibel living and taking over HM that makes sense since she was a higher ranked officer and more powerful but even she got captured and beat so again i have no idea how Grimmjow is just wandering around aside from this being done to appease the masses. There's really no point of the fight of Ichigo and Grimmjow, that's why they'll become allies and fight side by side, the same thing goes for all the other characters. Also, one of the reasons of Grimmjow's comeback is because of him being loved by the fans, the same thing goes for Nel. Speaking of DBZ, Bleach is DBZ + Yu Yu Hakusho.

We still know very few things of what their motivations of coming and how they came and how each of them survived, so let's wait for more explanations, it's just a chapter of comebacks. Hell, even Grimmjow didn't appear and we still don't know if he turned into a Vasto Lorde or what he looks like now. We also still don't know the reason the Quincies are fighting too. There are lots of questions that need to be answered, so wait for answers for now.

Gin, as well as all 'souls', are not humans, they have no bodies, they have a spiritual form, which is different from a human's body. Gin was hurt by a god-tier 'creature' with a godlike Reiatsu and his spiritual form couldn't withstand the wound and thus died.

The Full bringers died, but ended up in the Soul Society as spirits. Makes sense. I'm surprised that was the first time a plot point was brought up, since we haven't really had main humans die up til this point.

I've been waiting to see Kubo bring this topic back up, as he illuminated this detail in the beginnings of the manga when he explained the process of what shinigami do exactly.

Makes me curious to see who else pops up or reappears in the next chapters :)

And that arm definitely belonged to Grimmjow, even his  hakama looked very much alike to what Grimmjow would have worn.

Now let me see if I get this debate:

1-All FBers except Ginjou WERE in human form, and those that died now are in SS, no prob with this right?

2-Ginjou: If I get this then the problem is that he died while in some shinigami form? Well if I recall correctly he never switched, he was fighting Ichigo until he used Bankai and then his appearance changed. Not sure how this is interpretated BUT the same thing has been occuring with Sado since the first time his powers appeared. He never switched in some spiritual form (back in the begining chapters before SS). So the only thing that we can assume is that they are STILL in human bodies only that their powers are not visible by normal humans. From there on it seems to me that the whole dead->SS concept that has been brought up covers the whole thing without needing anything more to be added, not to mention that it's way better like this since Kubo will using the very basic points of his manga.

Edit: I don't think it was ever brought up that memory is reset. Remember the parrot that Sado savd? Back in SS he became a boy (which was his original form) and remembered Sado just fine, he was also desperately searching for his mother.
