Bleach Chapter 516 Discussion

About the walls, I understood it as them usually surrounding the Royal Palace. But during emergencies a part of the Royal palace comes down to protect Soul Society.



And my guess is that the one on the left is Hikifune... the rest of them look like a mix between a Yakuza, a Pirate, a member of the Triads and a member of a street gang... could be that some of them were part of Yamamoto's group way back when Juha Bach actually feared Soul Society.

Is it me or did the Zero Squad logo change from "零" to.. something else?



Or was the "Rei" kanji just speculation and never actually appeared in the manga or anime? I don't remember.

that was a very quick chapter. Kon's appearance was a waste of pages.

the seiretei in one of those bleach films is showed to us 'upside down' (i guess it was memories of nobody?)

then imo this wall is usually in the universe on some plane that is collateral to the plane of the real world (im not sure about my english terminology -.-)

or the Royal palace may be just like Hueco mundo- in other dimension. then Hueco mundo would be some kind of equivalent of the royal palace?

Naw they pretty much stronger than CC. He is part of the Gotei 13. Thats probably the only reason they came because he's dead.

EVERY RG shown has an unique, eccentric character design, which so far has been the defining point of all the loudmouths, egoists and narcisists in this manga(Mayuri, Yami, that one sternritter, etc)



RG facial features are designed to be outstanding in "we feel special" kind of way, with definitive traits of yakuza and japanese celebrities being used.

I like some of them but others look pretty sketchy. That glasses dude looks like some guy that is like a super greedy evil villain. I like the way the middle guy looks ROCKIN' DAT BEARD, one looks like he could be Kenpachi's brother, then we have a seductive looking chick and a fat bimbo.



Also DAT KON!



Welp, until the next chapter we'll find out what they are REALLY like.
