i loved this chapter omg xD RIP Capt Commander...he got in half but could still move his arm lol until that was cut...

Interesting to know how the Gotei 13 were in the beginning.

I hope it's Squad Zero at the end as well...wouldn't be surprised that they moved quicker than Bach expected. I suppose who ever it is they'll cause Quincy to retreat for the time being and stop there assault.

Or Ichi is possible with one or two other people from HM or such?...I would rather it be Unohana though. But doubt that it's her just yet.

Or one of the remaining War Potentials? Ichi, Kenpachi and Aizen are the only 3 I remember being mentioned I think.

Oh and that Quincy's survived it seems, so guess the same can go for the rest. Pity he didn't' end there lives permanently before fighting Bach's clone.

Damn another week now...

I don't like how Yama got 1 shotted again... it's insane to think a regular blade can cut him in half like that considering he has tanked far stronger blows in the past. Kubo's bad writing continues to show here... Bleach stopped being great after the Soul Society arc imo.

How exactly would you know that Bach's was a regular blade?  Didn't he summon it from the sky?  Also, how sharp a sword is in Bleach means nothing, it's about reiatsu.  It's been in our faces over and over again since the first battle between Ichigo and Kenpachi.  Also, I find this arc more interesting than Soul Society (potential-wise).  Opinions will be opinions.

How fullfilling was Yama's death, and how despicably badass can Juha bach be here:

Greater villain than Aizen for me in terms of appearance.

Well frankly both served different purpose.

Aizen was a typical revolutionary with a bit of sociopath mixed in there.  Its the case of a person with ego going for some grander than life goal and he worked for that. We were not supposed to directly despise him.

Bach on other hand seems to be driven purely by revenge, hatred and all those things that a reader should find despicable. Thus its only normal that Kubo would emphasize his ruthlessness, especially since he is supposedly basing his VR under how Yamaji's "Divisions" were. I would not be surprised that pre-genocide Bach might have been a little bit different person.

In both of cases we do not know the full story yet because both seem to connect to the past of Ichigo and the mysteries behind it all, but they both seem to serve different purposes

One piece of advice: forget aout Kido. I see a lot of people complaining about the lack of usage of it. Do youselves a favor and forget about it XD. Honestly, it was a luxury item that Kubo implanted for no huge reason and it's a factor that shows up at 1% of the time and half of those momments it gets destroyed by..guess what..sheer reiatsu.

Well frankly, Kido is not that useful in straight out confrontation between higher level people  Aizen tried it against Ichigo but we saw how it turned out. its not like all those attacks in dragon ball for example - a lot of kido techniques seem to be focused on supporting roles and most of it can be overcome if enemy is equal or stronger than you.

Frankly the only people we could expect to have Kido in their fights in direct battle approach are Unohana, Urahara, Hacchi and Urahara's servant as they are the people we SURELY know to be the ones who have an extensive knowledge in kido in one way or the other.

We can't determine the exact sense of scale in already happened battles of Byakuya and Yamamoto to determine whether the approach of using kido would have been successful as it was never an equal fight. So far it has been all about one side overpowering and surprising the other

Also let's not forget that due to quincy technique nature, they might just absorb kido attacks, which yet again remains to be actually seen.
