Bleach Chapter 509 Discussion

Mm, everyone seems to assume that the real Juha Bach is still alive. I really hope the guy we just saw isn't actually just a descendant/grandson/son of the ORIGINAL Juha Bach. And that he's failed his ancestor and is sorry etc., and that the real Juha Bach died years ago or whatever.

Of course that might not make sense since Yamamoto recognized him.. Unless they look really similar and his memory is a little fuzzy. 1000 years is a long time after all.

Well this would be a short and stupid arc if the invasion ends here, so hopefully that's not the case, or there are some other circumstances at work to negate this new development.

^That blade is vastly different than the one Juha has, heck the swords that Sternritters have barely look like a katana

Well, white haired guy now knows the limits of Yamamotos bankai so he can stop pretending that he isn't Juha Bach now that the imposter is on his last breath.

And he can steal Yama-jii's bankai leaving Ichigo to be the only one left who's bankais limits are still unrecognized, thus Ichigo must be the one to fight the real Juha Bach and he can be hero once more.

With Bach dead the war between Quincys and Shinigamis will finally be over after its 1000 year pause.

Wait...WHAT? If I understood it right...That wasn't the real Juha Bach right? o_o Wow...

That's how I interpret it, too. Probably some mook who took his appearance in order to make Yama release his Bankai so that the real Bach can steal it. Or something like that...

iirc Yamamoto's stamina is his weakpoint (iirc the stats were this way, while everything is 100%, his stamina was like 60%), that's why he deactivated his Bankai, but now that he was went all out on Bach he should be a bit tired now so the Quincy, that boldie especially, he's not a normal Quincy as you guys discussed, will try to defeat him, but let's not forget that the rest of the Shinigami are still out there so who knows what will happen.

Edit: checked (scroll until you see it on the right side), his weakness is his Physical Strength, Stamina in other words, it's probably because of old age. His stamina is 20% less than Hitsugaya.

Fake Juha was probably there to learn about Yama's bankai, so that the real Juha can steal it later on.

you may have hit the jackpot right there

I as a reader am considering one or two of those guys as possible war potentials because we don't know how capable they are, why shouldn't I?

First things first If I seemed aggresive I apologise. I just think it like this:

Kenpachi without a Bankai is a captain, Yamamoto is obviously worlds apart from other captains. The third WP is ichigo who, well, is ichigo. These 3 seem to define a class of power that they (along with Aizen) belong. I understand that  Shunsui and Kyoraku are considered among the strongest captains(since they are also the oldest and Yama's prized pupils) but other than that we have no particular evidence in terms of potential. Heck, since they are THAT old they might have no further potential at all. Also excludin them from the list makes it easier to come up with names that fill the criteria.
