People should get over that. Quincy to begin with is not a race, it's a fighting style, a way of life. Anyone spiritualy aware can be teached Quincy arts, some may be more talented than others and there's those that won't amount to anything but that's like any martial arts. You are not born a Quincy, you become one.



Sure the heritage between families of practitioners must vary a lot and a child born in a family of Quincy-style user will most likely be teached in a superior way, armed in a superior way and have an advantage since birth because, since his family trained in the art for hundreds of year, he may have a body composition more adept to use Quincy arts.



If his mother was a Quincy, grandfisher would have gotten destroyed, there's no way she would have died by the hand of such low level hollow.



I like to think that Ichigo's mom is just a normal human Isshin falled in love with. Ichigo's birth wasn't a normal one, he probably was the result of experiment and such. Isshin couldn't stand it, took Ichigo and left for the real world where he met Ichigo's 'mom', they fell in love and he had 2 babies with her.

Something like that.

Ichigo's birth is a huge mystery. SS knew about him, Aizen knew about him since he was born, Ukitake and Shunsui talked about him as if they have watched him the whole life of his.

+ Don't forget Isshin somehow knows Ryuuken very well.Which i think leads to something important...i mean Isshin was/is Shinigami and Ryuuken is Quincy.

What if SS removed Isshin Shinigami powers because he had romance with Quincy (Ichigo's mother).And Ryuuken was some relative of Ichigo's mother o.o *WTF speculation mode on*

There are so much things i want to know.



Ishin still has all of his power. He fought against Aizen. But we don't know what happened to him. He's not like urahara who was banned for some reason. We'll see it later.
