So Soul Society wanted to keep tabs on Ichigo, even control him? Big deal. I hate to be the jerk who says this, but it's their right, or at least they're responsibility. Ichigo's an extremely rare and dangerous anomaly to them. He's walking around in the living world

spewing reiatsu around at the level of a captain! And to top it off, he's not exactly stable either. Let's not forget Hichigo. Sure, he should've earned their trust, but being wary is still smart. I would hope that Ichigo would be able to handle this news.

IMO, I think those weren't the "whole" big twist of the story. I could say, Ginjo spewed half or maybe 1/4 of the truth. As Ishida said, "The worst scenario is if neither of those were true". We just can't assume that what this chapter had offered is the big f**king twist". I also want to hear the SS side of the story...and what are Isshin's thoughts, especially Urahara's?

For this chapter, I love the ending...can't wait to see Ichigo's bankai. Is it "the same", or different?

great chapter. this makes me wonder if ichigo was actually born for the prupose of being an elite pawn for the SS. Maybe that's why aizen said he knew everything about ichigo since he was conceived. I also think ginjou's experience as a sub-soulreaper probably wasn't good as ichigo has it now. They probably did exploit ginjou but in ichigo's case they were going to exploit him but he ended up becoming a more of a friend/ally.

Hope there's more reveal/action next week!

Unexpected that Ukitake was the one... So now what happens?

That was the obvious purpose, which is by all means, sensible! The real deal was not disclosed yet.

Now what? Ichigo goes bankai, beats Ginjou, who, before dying tells the real "real" disturbing truth? I hope not cuz it would be lame.

I wasn't expecting ukitake to be the apparent culprit there~ Interesting twist~ I wonder what'll happen next~

And for the SS side, i guess i see why it's like that. Since he's human and all, he probably doesn't know how to "control" His powers and supress it like a proper shinigami. So it suppresses it. If they didn't supress it, they'd have a situation like aizen, where if anyone approached them they would die from the seer amount of power he has.

And they need to keep track of him cause well, they need to make sure nothing's happening in the human world that they should investigate?

I dunno, it's been a real long time since i read this manga~ ^^;;

Well i guess you really can't trust the calm and collective characters. Was a bit of a deja vu for me seeing Ukitake as the culprit. Therefor i'm not really that shocked like I was with Aizen's 'betrayal'(coming to his senses).

Though I wonder what Yamamoto does in all of this, he should be the top dog of soul society. Anyway really looking forward to the full truth. Maybe i'll even skip this part of the manga so i can be surprised in the anime like the good old days...
