Thats still unknown, actually. We have yet to see Rukia's flashback(as it, s well s Ichigo's dream both are still left mysteriously uncovered, meaning there are some important plotpoints around it), we still have mayuri being utterly shady with stuff he found in hm(he spent all his time there after aizen's defeat, remember?) and it was quite clear that there were a lot of shinigami unhappy with Yamamoto's decision.

It still does not contradict what I said in last chapter discution where SS is reproaching Ichigo's something and want him dead but that some of the shinigami would still side with him. I simply did not expect the whole gotei 13 to side with him.

Welcome to shonen genre. If you expect something innovative go that way away from this genre as everything in shonen genre, barring few examples(Claymore, DGM, etc) have been reiterating same old ideas, and same old ideas(bigger fish, beating your predecessor, etc)
