No it does not. Hence why them not being there could range from "oh just late urahara-style" to "plotting revolution". I was just pointing out that apart from obvious, Mayuri, there were captains NOT present(thus not reacting) to scene.

Then we had the whole bit about him not caring who wins in fkt - implying that whatever he found in szayel's lab is something more important.



As for SS - yet again gotei13 is not ss. We do know that majority of shinigami are not as friendly as captains we met. We know about corruption and one can easily deduce that to those shinigami, old order is a lot better than Ichigo-affected more "liberal" law.

Even inside Gotei 13 we have separate shady groupings like Ukitake's one and Mayuri's one.



The general mass of ss is wildly corrupt and bureaucratic. In fact, this decision might has well lead to some medieval-japan-style revolution against the ruling body.(since we know that Mayuri and his findings will play huge role in overall story)

So Hirako Shinji gave his reatsu...maybe the Vizard will be at the party, but not right now.

Very interesting. Ginjou was the first substitute shinigami. I'm wondering if that means he has powers that go beyond the normal substitute and actually rival that of a true shinigami. It seems like that is the case, looking at the last page. Hoping for action in the chapters to come, but I think we will either get more talking or a flashback of how Ginjou came to be a substitute shinigami and what made him disappear.
