I reckon the 'one he likes' is some 'really respects' misunderstanding, since half the fun of the series is all the girls fighting for his affection. We could at least wait until all the class have pactio cards!

I doubt it, but I so want it to be Nodoka.  That aside, when he said he "talked to her" I was thinking someone like Setsuna, so who knows.  Maybe it IS just respect as opposed to a literal romantic interest.



Either way, I'm still a fan of Negi x Nodoka and in the school roster, he did write "cute" for her picture.  He's never done that with any of the other girls.



The girl I find it most likely to not be (if it is in a romantic manner) is definitely Asuna.  To me, he treated her too much like a surrogate sister. In all honesty, they've always put off a sibling-like vibe to me.



Let's see...what else...oh yes, must say I love Chisame's character.  I do like the fact she's one of the most human characters of the series despite the zaniness around her.

Chisame is pretty much egoist with what she said but she's probably the most human and normal character in the whole story, I can associate well with her.

Indeed, somehow her sense of realism among the nonsensical characters in the series made me aware of her. I start to think Chisame as tsundere type girl...

I certainly would be surprised if Nodoka is the one: it seems like the chosen girl is never the one who was in love with the main character from the very start.

I want it to be Konoka. Negi as the offensive force and Konoka as the healing force combine with their magic capacity could make one powerful baby. I think all the yuri shipping is because of Setsuna's fantasies. well either way, is this going to be a confession fest till the fun finally stops and it gets serious? they should just get it over with.

I'm fairly sure that something will happen after this "festival"; i don't see these laid back chapters going on unless he plans to just end the series here; after all there are still unresolved issues, i just hope he doesn't do a time skip, a short one wouldn't be that bad i guess but i still wouldn't prefer it.
