Mahou Sensei Negima! Chapter 316 Discussion

Ouch, the focus of this chapter was on Fate alright, but more of a oh-i-just-learned-something-so-now-I'm-a-cool-kid kind of fight, I don't know what to say, I'm glad that Tertium is making some character development, albeit a short one, but, well, I guess Akamatsu had to show what was going on at the Mahora Academy again at some point. So right now I'm really wondering about this one question that negs me at the back of my head: How will this arc end? Cause, first of all, we have the Life Maker taking Negi's side and the "bad guys" are dropping like flies (with the rate Negi and Tertium took care of their respective opponents i suspect Setsuna and Mana will only take about one chapter each with theirs if at all) it all seems too easy, so what's going to happen? A FINAL Final Boss? The tree goes haywire and calling for a collective effort to subdue it (Everyone be friends)? And when the heck are we going to see Nagi?
Enough of my curiosity and bitching gone wild, I'm glad to see Kitty again, though she really hasn't been doing anything recently, the main body, not the shadow.
Oh and ZAVIE SPOKE (not the sister).
