Mahou Sensei Negima! Chapter 295 Discussion

These last two chapters have been so awesome! I think it's the best so far because no one saw Zazie coming out of nowhere. When seeing Ala Alba seemly teleported from the magic world directly to Mahora Academy, it just blew my mind away. I was in shock for like a few minutes just staring at the computer screen.

Anyways about the chapter, when Zazie mentions about Negi's path being more bloodshed than Fate's, it made me remember the same problems from the Chao/MF arc. No one is truly right or wrong, it's just as you perceive it as. Negi thought what Chao was doing was bad in his own right, but Chao had her own reasons why what she was doing was good too. It's the same when it comes to Negi and Fate. Akamatsu really has brought Negima to a new level.

That's a whole lot of speculation. We don't know much about Zazie, actually we know next to nill about her except for her clown facade. Also, robots cannot use magic.

I should have said doll, such as Chachamaru. Chachamaru can use magic because it is one of the condition to form a pactio. Her fuel to begin with is magic (Remember that Negi must pour magic into her for her to regain energy?)

I agree this is a lot of speculation I did here and even if it isn't Chao there's probably more chance for him/her to be Zect than another Fate (I get the feeling that there's only one Fate at a time and that the condition for the next one to be born is for the last one to die)

Chao returning would be her breaking her promise of returning to the future. Besides, if she was truly intent on defeating Negi and Co. she would have had her spell activated back in the Festival arc. It seems her time travelling powers are not that strong either, as if she didn't return to the future when she did it would have taken her 22 years to get back.

I don't recall her promising never returning, god she even said that they shall met again before parting.

Going from this era to the future is probably a ton harder than going from the future to the past since the future probably have the technologie to do it and don't rely on the magic tree.

She was planning to win but she lost, it's not like she had a super power that could blast everything since she obviously went all out. Still even at this point in the story a Casseiopeia would probably allow her to kick about everyone asses. She could only uses the Casseiopeia in the festival arc because of the very high magic density around the tree. If Chao is going to remake what happened in the last war then she'll have ton of magic at her disposal as well.

Besides, Chao revealing herself now would ruin the plot. Her existence would prove that Negi wasn't defeated by Fate, ultimately proving which side won.

Lol, who say that Fate would ultimately follow Chao? He want his fight with Negi for sure and Chao look like she's going to get in his way and he made clear with Tsukuyomi that he would be the one to beat Negi. I'm not saying that he will side with Negi but that he maybe will ignore some order to get his fight.

Also this is a shounen, of course Negi will beat Fate, it is even more sure if Fate is not at the top.

Besides, Negi had to try really hard to establish a pactio with Chachamaru. Chao isn't nearly as powerful as Negi when it comes to magical ability. Her use of what looked to be Magia Erebea (in an early state) kind of proves this.

A pactio is nothing hard, this is a basic ability that even low level mage could do. Technologie is advanced in the future, it might be common for android to be in the street and live as human for as far as we know about the future.

That is weird that Chao can not use magic, who knows she might even not be related to Negi, maybe Zazie is the one related to Negi since she have an insane magical power. We can't do nothing but speculate at this point lol.

Anyways, I just hope it isn't Chao. Her appearance would be better after Fate is defeated, but it'd be twice as good if she were to defeat Fate herself.

Well, all is only speculation but I think that if it isn't Chao then she will make an appearance soon. Ken usually make things clear and this time it wasn't and that's my only doubt that it isn't Chao even tough the eye look alike.

Might as well say for the non-existent record... I was betting on that hooded chick being Chao from the very first time I saw her.

As for teleporting them from Mars to Japan, if Zazie is allied with Chao, who not only transported back to Mars, but forward in time, I would think the ability should be available to her. Also, it could just be another "super-duper key of the lifemaker" thing.

Also sort of obvious; Negi and his party are totally on the wrong side of this whole battle because they don't know half the story yet. At the last moment, the plot is turning around from a clichefest and starting to actually look like the ending I have been predicting since the original Chao arc.... I am most excited... (i.e. STILL saying that Nagi is the ultimate bad guy)

Negi and his party aren't on the wrong side of this battle. They're probably on the closest thing to a right side in all of this. Negi's trying to save everyone, but the problem is that the chances he'll do better than Godel's plan (and the potential for bloodshed accompanying that) are slim. Worst case no one gets saved in any form.

Fate's path kills 1.2 billion people (they'll just be unable to disintegrate 67 million or so of it's victims,) and imprisons their souls in in a man made "paradise" that would have to strip them of chunks of their free will to keep to it's billing, and logically it would eventually face the same sort of collapse confronting the magic world.

From Fate's group's point of view, they're merely transferring everyone to a better world, and the flesh and blood people will just happen to leave their bodies behind, but since they'll still be "alive" in the new world, none of it counts as bloodshed. Everyone gets "saved" as they still exist in some form.

TOOO SHORT!!!! >.<

Even after this chapter, Zazie's still very mysterious. And it looks like she has a pactio card as well. Who's the master?

And a new character appears yet again or maybe not (Hooded Person with Fate). Good thing there's no break next week :D
