Ok le me help you confused people a little. Apocryphos isn't trying to kill Allen, his trying to unite with him and stop the memories of the 14th ever taking over. How will he do that? Well simple because he isn't human, his just a big mass of innocence walking around.

Those flower things out of peoples eyes is something Apocryphos does to people to make them forget they saw him. Link doesn't remember him because of that and Kanda wouldn't normally remember him ether but his regenerating abilities fixed the memory erasing allow him to remember.



Kanda i guess is more powerful now with his crystal type innocence so his the most fitting to be a general if they want to fill an empty slot.

You know, I still have no idea who this Apocalypse guy is.

These month long chapters + break = I forget.

Wow I'm happy Kanda became a General !

I think Apo's goal is merely to protect the heart. So therefore, he may be neither good nor bad. He just has to fulfill his duty and whatever gets in his way will be dealt with.

Probably, the awakening of 14th in Allen, will threaten or kill the one who possesses the heart, which is why Apo is so fixed on killing Allen.



What I want to know is: Is Apo innocence? Made of innocence?

So does that mean you can't use your innocence power against him?

Would that mean only the Noah can compete with him?



I'm so sad that Tim died though. :( Tim has to come back! Along with Cross!

This arc is so sad..I miss the times when the whole exorcist team with dispatch together on their usual missions, laughing and fighting along the way. Will they ever get back to that time? :(

Love this series to death, and it scares me that Hoshino's inability to meet deadlines might mean DGM will eventually kick the bucket. A lot of people have lost interest simply because a story like this can't be told in tiny pieces with large gaps in between. This regular serialization thing definitely isn't working for her and I wish she'd just release four tankobon a year or something. At least the pacing would be better x_x



That said, I loved this chapter. Not sure why people seem so apprehensive of Kanda as a general. It's true that Hoshino hasn't really characterized his growth all that well, but it's clear he's gotten stronger regardless. He may not be at the same battle level as the rest of the generals yet, but they all had to start somewhere. My only beef is that Kanda doesn't seem to have any more /room/ for growth since his entire existence is pretty much a ticking time bomb.
