Totally don't give damn about this manga anymore. Comes out once in several months, nothing actually happens. Kanda as general? I mean when did he reach general's power? He in the cross place? very funny. Would have been way better if Cross returned, not him.

Aside from all, it damn angers me how Lavi, Lenalee and other characters are pushed aside.

Although Allen and Earl not in this chapter, its still awesome!xD

The art is simply amazing and beautiful!

The highlight of the chapter for me is definitely Twins VS Apo!!! Jasdero and Debitto both had matured arts but simply cool looking!!!xD Not only that, both of their weapon upgraded from pistol to shotgun!!!XD

Oh no, Timcampy situation looks no good at all.T_T

General Tiedoll!!! Miss you too!!!xD

I'm glad Kanda at least get rid of the brainwash.

Speaking of brainwash, so that's how Apo do brainwash to huge amount of people.

And apparently, he can peek into others memory? This confused me a bit.:S

And Kanda gonna become a general? Hm...can he? Since I'm not sure what his new snycho rate is yet, I'll just stop here.

For the things happened in this chapter, I definitely did not see this coming.

And those blur effect is really great work.

Hoping next chapter got Allen and Earl info. Maybe the Earl want or already kidnapped Allen, 14th for the EArl though. That's why the Twins battle Apo in order to buy time.xD

I feel like this is going somewhere but really slowly.....

The art was great don't know why some people hate the art I for one love it.

No not Timcampy!!! Him dying is cruel, I hope he isn't dead though T^T

I want to know why Kanda is a general now if they knew his power....

Apo. Dude. Got's to freakin die no one kills Tim

Allen where are you and Lavi too

I have to say I'm not happy with these update times. I was so confused when the chapter started. I thought Kanda's false memories were real but couldn't remember reading them and thought I missed a chapter so I went back to previous chapters and found nothing only to continue 217 to find out the innocence guy planted them. -_-

Anyway, I think Kanda becoming general goes something like this:

Tiedoll said that Kanda has been surpressing his power, which makes total sense. He hates the order for what it did to him and Alma, but he is an exorcist, so he'll do his duty, but he doesn't want to do anymore than required for them.

If I remember correctly, if it was even mentioned, we knew from the start that Kanda was one of the strongest non-general level exorcist and that's why he's the one that's always on missions.

He also had a number of attacks for Mugen, he just doesn't use them because they require his life force the more power he had to use.

Kanda has been a exorcist before, he is obviously possessive of Mugen, it's natural that he was somewhere close to critical point from the start of the series. Or as it went on and he was able to kill a Noah by himself.

Side note: for the person who didn't know what 'critical point' is- it's when an exorcist and their innocence has a Schro rate of over 100%. It's also a requirement to become a general. I can't tell the exact timeline cause this manga takes forever to update, but it feels like it was mentioned a very long time ago. Allen has also reached general level.

I'm happy to see Tiedoll and definitely happy he came bearing news.

I'm happy Kanda's becoming a general. But sadly Gerenal Yu sounds way better than General Kanda. He is not going to like that.

it's already frustrating enough that the series has piled up a massive amount of mysteries of everybody and every purpose, and yet, the mangaka still wants to add in more without settling some first. This feels like the current anime arc of Bakuman where the main 'antagonist' simply pours all ideas into a con-sized chapter, only to confuse the reader more! What more, the chapters don't get updated often. DGM's not on a monthly release anymore, and that is just sad. our facts of just the previous chapters gets forgotten easily and we have many trying to grasp again the situation of what is happening to who.

Arrgghhh!! i'm just so frustrated with the position that DGM is in. the story is good. the mangaka is never always in the pink of health. the chapters are now on frequent breaks. i just feel so sad...many of my friends have left the franchise because of this.

About the chapter:

- idea of Kanda being a marshall is cool. (anime used the term 'marshall'. manga is 'general'?)

- surpassing your critical point? what?

- tim, my baby, lemme hug you...*recalling of Tim's tears in the previous chapter (or was it the previous previous?)*

- more on Kanda's past. remembering a certain type of pain. more added mystery again?

- Cardinal, don't act like a freaking angel, you devil.

- awesome that we have the involvement of some of our long-time-no-see Noahs, Jasdevi. Maybe they would have a clue abt Cross since they were chasing him the last time (long long ago~) *would have been good if we saw some of the other Noahs participating in the act*

^Yeah, no way Cross is dead.

I don't know what the hell is going on anymore and you can't kill Timcanpy, that's cruel.

Ok le me help you confused people a little. Apocryphos isn't trying to kill Allen, his trying to unite with him and stop the memories of the 14th ever taking over. How will he do that? Well simple because he isn't human, his just a big mass of innocence walking around.

Those flower things out of peoples eyes is something Apocryphos does to people to make them forget they saw him. Link doesn't remember him because of that and Kanda wouldn't normally remember him ether but his regenerating abilities fixed the memory erasing allow him to remember.

Kanda i guess is more powerful now with his crystal type innocence so his the most fitting to be a general if they want to fill an empty slot.Good round up there. One thing I'll point out though is that Apo technically told Crown Clown it was going to merge with it (Innocence to Innocence) and CC would be erased. Apo told CC not to be afraid because it was for Allen's sake (to suppress the 14th). So CC cares for Allen but is on Apo's side on how to deal with the Noah in him. Allen and Tyki appear to have mistaken what was meant by Apo though...

Jeeze It's been a while since I've read D. Gray-Man. I wish she'd fix the art style : \

But Central is just screwed up now and in dissaray, if I were Kanda, I wouldn't want to go back there in that mess. Kanda was not as sad about Timcanpy's death as I had hoped.

Kanda becoming the new general? Haha.

Looks like Timcanpy is dead; don't see how they could possibly fix him.

Wow, what did Apocryphos do to all those bystanders? And what the hell is he doing anyway? A rogue Innocence just killing random people and whatnot is kind of against what the Order is trying to achieve.
