D.Gray-man Chapter 213 Discussion

So then, it appears this is the real Link after all. But I have to wonder, just where Apocryphos is then. Wasn't he on Allen's tail just a few chapters ago? I doubt he lost track of Allen so easily. All in all, it was a pretty decent chapter. And I'm already itching to see the next chapter.



It's amazing how this chapter seemed to make a bunch of Link fangirls just because he was shirtless in the beginning, haha~ Run, Link and Kanda! Fangirls are gonna start pairing you two together now~! x]



As for Volume 23 cover. It's alright; I love the details. However, I'm not a fan Kanda's orange colored coat. A lot of people seem to be happy that Hoshino changed to warmer colors - but I honestly think the cold colors might have been a little better for this cover. (Or perhaps a mixture of both...?)

Wow after the 2 month break on my first reading I was completely lost lol.



I was like "wtf now Link was turned into the 14th?" then I realized Zu was kinda out of it and most likely talking about Allen. So he's probably the one who implanted Nea into Allen and made him the 14th using this "Atuuda" magic that disrupts the natural order of life. It also seems that he did it on Lvellie's orders.

No, that scene when Link woke up, was a flashback. Meaning, Link woke up 2-3 months ago (20 days after he supposedly died) and now he's finally found (or has been following the whole time) Allen.

I guess next is Mana and Neah's childhood arc. I wanna learn that song's history...

Even though it was a bit slow, I enjoyed this chapter! At least it's now clear what happened with Link!

I like that Link is not telling whats his face everything. I hope Road comes back to see Allen soon... where exactly is she anyway. I remember the golden flying thingy take her but what happened after that. Is she still in there?

True, the art changed quite a bit but I`m always happy about a new chapter ;P

I`m so looking forward to the next one!!



But one thing bothers me (except the missing of Lavi again -_-): What?! Kanda`s the one who will kill Allen?! o.O

Back to the  cover art, this may be a stupid question, but what is the large white whale/cloud/blob to the left of allen. It looks as though it has weird fin things a jaw.

Am I overlooking something entirely obvious due to forgetting parts of the story, or is this something yet to be introduced?
