One of the best stories I've seen so far not just in manga/anime format but in general. A solid 10/10, amazing ending, story, themes and characters. I can't stop crying for Hohenheim, he was so happy his sons called him Dad and he got to shake Al's hand, was even ready so sacrifice his life for Al.

I'm also very happy Scar got a decent ending, he was my favorite character and I'm glad he redeemed himself.

Can't wait to forget some parts of the story so I can reread it or watch Brotherhood in a few years so experience this again.

This was a great journey, a really exciting one).

The end was truly amazing.

The only thing that could have made it better was more Armstrong and Mustang + Riza.

I am sad to see such a great series come to an end. But at least Arakawa ended it on such a high note. It'll be hard to fill FMA's shoes.

Best manga ever made. Or at least until Arakawa-sensei creates another... :P

I cried.

The ending wasn't totally what I expected (or, in some aspects, what I really wanted) but it was beautiful regardless. I cried because it's the end - no more waiting for chapters, no more fun theories (that we'll be able to canonly confirm or trash, at least), and no more goofy interactions between the characters I've grown to love (outside of fanfiction).

I am not an EdWin fan, but the last few pages... What Edward did was just so... Edward. Arakawa's a genius.

And Ling! I've always said that, as long as Ling, Edward, and Riza survive, I'll be happy (and I am), but Emperor Ling looks so... SERIOUS. I'll miss my fun-loving, happy-go-lucky, silly Ling...

I've followed this series since 2001... It's hard to see it go, but at the same time, I couldn't have asked for a better story to follow, and that makes me happy.

^This sort of summarises what I want to say and perhaps only adding the fact that Edward loses his alchemy skill sucks but the fact that Roy gets his eyes back is superb~

I thought that Roy will be the fuhrer and marry Riza though lol xD

Ah~ finally the series end~

I'm not sure whether I'm happy or sad right now since all of my feelings was like ahjgshjgsd.

Anyway, I satisfied with the ending.

Everyone is happy.

I'll definitely missed the series.

Overall 10/10

In any other series, I would've found the "cliche epilogue" style of this chapter incredibly infuriating. But... with FMA being what it is, and just how much all the characters had to suffer, I couldn't be any happier that everyone got a good ending. These characters really deserve some peace out of any other cast I've seen. Not to mention, a lot of the endings she thought up for the characters were really creative. (Like Yoki's circus, pffft.)

Though, agreeing with some of you guys... more Roy and Riza would've been nice. ;___; akdsfjkafds I MEAN REALLYYY, don't they deserve more of a conclusion than that?! Wasn't expecting anything like a make-out session, but at least a significant nod to the couple would've been appreciated.

But other than that, I think I'm satisfied with how everyone turned out. EdWin was to be expected, and though it's not my favorite pairing, the way Arakawa executed it was so freaking adorable and so true to their characters that I can't complain. And how AlMei was implied but not directly stated. For those two, I like how she kept that open-ended, since I don't mind whether they're romantic or not. (Awww, Mei turns out so pretty!!)

Also, that interaction between Ed and his dad, where he finally acknowledges him as his father. That was one scene that REALLY got me, I can't even word it. kldajfkdsfadsf

I'm going to be honest, it didn't draw out as many intense emotions from me as I thought it would! I wasn't bawling or anything. And I do think that all of those events seemed a little bit cramped, even within the span of ~100 pages. However, I do feel really satisfied and at peace with how that ended, and frankly, I can't imagine being as happy with the ending any other way.
