Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 108 Discussion

I had no qualms about the ending, for once. Everyone in FMA really deserved it, and I don't suppose Arakawa could've drawn up detailed epilogues for every character, so all in all, I'm happy. It's been a good journey. Also: hot damn Al.

Great ending to a great series really I loved the ending it was perfect even though we didn't get much Royai at the end :( I still and satisfied for the ending. I love Ed's proposal i thought it was funny. A little Seliem was so cute!! And I am happy for everyone too at least Roy got his eyesight back :) I cried at the end cause the series is over...now I feel something died inside lol but it will be missed and I give this series a 10/10! Now it is time to go reread it without waiting for a chapter :)

What I loved most was the unbelievably awkward confesion from Ed and Winry. Yeah, seeing them was so sweet! And I'm happy that Al decided to go to Xing to study with Mei. ^^



I thought Hohemheim'll die while "rescuing" Al's body, but I liked this idea more!

Other good point is that Grumman is the Fuhrer and not Mustang. :) (Even if Mustang is my favourite character, I think it's better so.)



Overall I think it was a great ending and story. I already miss it...

WOW...I Totally dislike  animation adaptations (Don't hate i still watch :) of comics But in this case the animated version might actually be better.

The Way Father Died was IMO way to easy,after a sum 10 chapters of pwnage.

Little Selim reborn was cute i must say >.<

All in all this is the typical ending i knew would happen.

It felt more like an epilogue, and less of a final chapter - 107 pretty much wrapped up the final struggle against Father. Pretty much agree with your sentiment.  While this epilogue chapter was nice, it did feel a bit generic of an ending.  Of course, I'm always one for happy endings, and this one definitely fit that bill, but I was hoping for a bit more surprises at the end than what we were presented with.  I'm a little disappointed with how little there covering some of the other major characters (i.e., Roy, Riza, Izumi, etc.) but I guess it was okay.  Again, everything seemed to turn out perfectly in the end, but after all of the shit the Elric brothers went through, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Ed sacrificed his alchemy to bring back Al. Mustang regained his sight from Marcoh's philosopher stone. The scene with Ed, Al and Winry made me cry a little. Scar will help Ishval regain their name. Ed x Winry and Al X May (maybe)!

I wanted to know how it all ends but didnt want it to finish. I miss it so much already.



The ending was good, i liked the fact that Ed still kept his leg. I have realy enjoyed reading and waiting each month for a new release.



I was so happy to hear that there will be a special side story in the next issue of Shonen Gangan, can't wait!!
