I'm not really buying it, as he was "dead" for quite a while so it seems way too late for him to start the heart massage to bring himself back to life and it seems that the troupe members even checked his body to see if he is still alive before he used bungee gum to bring himself back to life after they left the hotel room.



I would be ok with there being an extreme condition such as him being a walking corpse as you said with maybe some limited time period left to "live" but from that raw it didn't seem that way at all he seemed to literally brought himself back to life without any real consequences and just casually goes off and kills 2 troupe members like it was nothing, sure they didn't have their hatsus but cmon they are troupe members they should probably give him at least some sort of a challenge.

Oh my goodness this might be one of the greatest chapters in all of HxH. Incredible.



Hisoka coming back to life is CRAZY. I wonder who would've won if Hisoka didn't fight in Chrollo's ideal conditions.



Hisoka declaring to kill all the spiders is insane!!! I'm happy he didn't kill waifu Machi tho, he seems to have a soft spot for her. I can't believed he immediately killed Kortopi and Shalnark just like that. The man is a beast.



Bruh the Troupe are going on the expedition to the Dark Continent as well, this is going to be ridiculous. So many big-name characters on the voyage.



And did Chrollo not steal Shalnark's ability? Maybe he can borrow them too. Not sure. Either way I guess he's lost it permanently now! Same with Kortopi's ability.

This was a terrible chapter all around. Besides the cop out at the beginning with Hisoka's cpr, what really annoyed me the most was that Hisoka's personality here was quite different from what we know. He wanted to fight Chrollo because of the thrills it brings him to be brought to his limits by a worthy opponent yet when he finally manages to do so and looses he decides to seek revenge? But why? Is he a sore looser? Oh well, I'm looking forward to how Togashi will solve this mess if nothing else. It's definitely the worst HxH chapter thus far imo.

Because I'm tired and need to sleep the subreddit has a bunch of really good explanations for the majority of the problems most people have with the chapter, and they make a lot of sense somehow.

Yup same here. Also isn't hisoka's desire  to fight strong people"? Here he is acting otherwise to render him powerless, so revenge mentality. And not to say abt that healing ability ffs, asspull.



Anyway it creates another story line for dc, and if anyone has noticed, there is a new member in troupe since hisoka mentions 10 more members to kill.

But that doesn't really make sense tho, if Hisoka wanted a "fair match" he would set the conditions before he agreed to help Chrollo get his nen back but he wanted to fight him at full power and even said that it was up to him to choose the place and even the time for the fight, even during the fight he "schwinged" about the way he fought so he wanted to deal with it the hard way so to say but it's pretty shitty if his rationale was "Well fuck I wanted to kill him full power but it turns out he is waaay stronger than I thought so fuck it lol I'll just cripple him little by little by killing his hommies and then fight him" like wtf?

Well yeah, Hisoka himself admits defeat from that statement alone. But note that he's still alive(lolz) so the battle between them isn't really over yet. In their fight in the Heaven's Arena, it's clear that Chrollo won that match and he accepts that. It was a match between the "prince of prep" and the "clown who specializes surprises" where the match was set in favor of the former and the former won because the latter clearly underestimated the former.



Well the clown can sure pull out magic tricks alright, even out of the most unexpected place... don't think I need to type we all know what that place is.

The Chimera Ants had ridiculously powerful Nen without any vows. Hisoka's Nen got stronger after dying. Or do you expect a drawback from Nen from a dead person who is now undead?



Chimera ants are completely different case tho, their whole biology is different then human ones and even with those extremely powerful nen aura they could still be killed and you know.....actually stay dead...... Pitou is probably something like 5 times if not even more stronger than Hisoka and the best she could do is after dying to make the puppet move her corpse, but here we have Hisoka doing gods work.

Hisoka couldn't have come back from having his head's destroyed like Pito;



Hisoka just died from suffocation.
