                        ----------------------------------------

I always find the chemistry between Hisoka and Machi to have a weird fixation to it. Her rage is somehow really amusing to see.

Spiders are starting to drop now...I wonder how Hisoka plans to hunt the rest of them down.

I have the exact opposite feeling that after all of this there is no way we will see him dead.

I know many are disappointed in the outcome of Hisoka and Chrollo battle. No wonder why. Two consecutive chapters are even entitled Disappointment, and it makes sense (lolz)

I still can't process how he managed to revive from the explosion. I'll just reread it til I get the concept. It's good to have him back and now he's more relevant to the plot as he is now completely set on annihilating all the members of the troupe. I have this feeling that Hisoka will not stay alive for so long.

Even after reading the raw it didn't seem like there was some extreme condition after surviving that or a drawback which is a huge disappointment. The whole handling of this is really lame honestly, I don't mind him surviving the fight or both of them but the way he revives is just LOL.

damn Hisoka can use bungee gum and texture surprise combo as his body parts now huh, cannot wait for the english scanlation since i cannot understand the korean scanlations lol

Bungee gum gets stronger after death to the point where his dead body can move in the same way as a puppet and revive himself without him pre-setting it. Pretty dumb but what's worse is that this sets the precedent for other characters doing the same thing for example Killua's nen could become stronger and shock himself back to life (ignoring logic because Hisoka's case showed it doesn't apply). Pretty bad way to kill off any suspense of main characters having yet another way to come back to life/heal unrecoverable wounds as if we didn't have enough already.

I read all the way through to see why so many people were obsessed with this manga but it just keeps bringing up plot holes and very heavy handed deus ex machina to save characters.

That makes it even dumber, fuck nen vows my Bungee Gum can make me stronger without me having any drawbacks..... Really?

The Chimera Ants had ridiculously powerful Nen without any vows. Hisoka's Nen got stronger after dying. Or do you expect a drawback from Nen from a dead person who is now undead?

Chimera ants are completely different case tho, their whole biology is different then human ones and even with those extremely powerful nen aura they could still be killed and you know.....actually stay dead...... Pitou is probably something like 5 times if not even more stronger than Hisoka and the best she could do is after dying to make the puppet move her corpse, but here we have Hisoka doing gods work.

Because he knew what he was doing. Everyone else wasn't smart enough to do so. Killua might be able to do the same with his Nen.

Really? that doesn't make it any less of an asspull because "he knew what he was doing" if anything it gives him even more power up, than wtf is even the limit of his Bungee Gum? Should I expect in the future for him to form a spirit bomb out of his Bungee Gum because he was smart to use it that way and his will is just that strong?

I'm disappointed in this chapter because I feel like a few tweaks were all it really needed in order to be, maybe not a great chapter, but at least a decent one transitioning back to the Dark Continent stuff.  Unlike a number of comments here, I am willing to buy into the Nen after death move of Hisoka's... to a certain degree.  The idea that he could use Bungee Gum to forcibly expand and contract, thus performing CPR on himself, would be a viable tactic for revival in this situation since he died of suffocation; and it is consistent with the properties of the ability as we know it.  The problem for me lies less with the tactic itself and more with the timing of everything.  This technique would be a lot more reasonable in my mind if it happened moments or minutes after death.  But the fact that it has been much longer (since rescue crews have arrived, the results are being reported on the news, and the Troupe has moved Hisoka elsewhere) just means that Hisoka should have woken up to find himself a vegetable.  Additionally, it seems weird that it would have taken this long for it to activate since it does not feel like you should be able to control the timing of Nen after death; and, in the case of Pitou previously, it took effect very shortly after dying.

All in all, this set up just reeks of contrivance.  I would have been much happier to see Hisoka die, Chrollo briefly confirm it and leave (since he was responsible for a massive explosion and the death of quite a few audience members, a hasty exit would make sense), Hisoka's Nen could then activate and revive him, Hisoka could seek of Machi separately, and then everything else could have played out as is.  Oh well.

On a positive note though, I am happy to see that the Troupe and Hisoka will be playing a role in this arc.  It will be interesting to see all of these factions fight it out.

mangastream scanlation is out btw

and holy shit Shalnark and Kortopi died without even a good fight because their nen abilities are stolen by Chrollo

Seeing Shalnark and Kortopi go down so easily... Makes a lot of sense. They've never been the Troupe's strongest fighters.

Since Hisoka was part of the Troupe for a short period of time, he obviously knows more about them than Kurapika does.

I will admit, him surviving suffocation and fixing his body like that... Yeah, I don't want to see that again. That was indeed bullshit.
