It seems a bit out of character for him to do this. Right after surviving a near death experience... Then suddenly go on a killing spree!

I guess he has a plan... Or several. I hope. Maybe.

To weaken Chrollo maybe? Kortopi's Gallery Fake and Shalnark's Black Voice were used by Chrollo in the match against Hisoka.

If I'm not mistaken Chrollo can't use stolen ability if the original user die right? Maybe he thought Chrollo steal other Spider's abilities so he want to kill the rest. Either that or he just want to piss off Chrollo.

1. Hisoka just stopped breathing for a moment and the used Nen to "come back to life". there is nothing unusual here. people can survive even if their heart stops beating you know.

Lol except his death was from his lungs not from the heart.

Not even Alluka brought someone straight from the dead.

he suffocated. there was no lethal injury on his body. and Nen just made his heart beat again. being reanimated isn't out of question in this situation.

I have to bump this topic because I'm curious,

Do you guys think Hisoka and Chrollo will fight again?

If so, Who will win?
(I think it's obvious should they meet again Hisoka will win but I want to hear your logic)

I also noticed people complaining about Shalnark and Kortopi dying without a fight. I know they had some nen missing but maybe it was Togashi's way of showing us how much stronger Hisoka has gotten after his revival. Or at least how  strong his assassination skills are against the spiders. If they didn't put up a decent fight it's probably cause there wasn't one. They were completely overpowered. But that's my opinion !

It's probably the last spider Hisoka would take down. But remember Kurapika? If he knows that Chrollo is back he'll @?!* again. I think an interviewer once asked about the end of Kurapika vs Spiders, Togashi said that they'll all die. I'm not sure if this is true but it's to be expected.

I think Hisoka won't be reanimated again. Hisoka is the mini Boss, he'll kill Kurapika to fight Chrollo and fight Chrollo again. I'll be satisfied if one of them managed to win (alive).

It's also lame how he took out two spiders instantly.

yeah it's kinda lame , i mean all spiders members are strong , and he took them in same time

the other guy didn't feel any nen lol

Ot : what a turn of event , why he is attacking spiders?  i could only think of revenge for what their boss did to him.

Oh yeah! Will Hisoka go after Kalluto too? They both met each other in Greed Island, so Hisoka would know about his involvement with the Troupe. Just not his abilities.

All this "massaging back to life" is all good and all but how is everybody ignoring the time frame in which that was done. Bungee Gum clearly didn't keep massaging it only started it after they moved him to a hotel room which lets be real probably takes time..... and it wasn't only a heart massage but even a lung massage?

I don't think it was a "lung massage", his Nen simply pumped air into his lungs as a means of artificial ventilation. Bungee Gum is a perfect power for this kind of stuff, considering it can stick to anything and contract and all that.

But that still brings us back to the whole "time frame" window in which that was made. Like I said above at any point where bungee gum even massaged his heart and pumped air into his lungs the brain would be long dead.

I already responded to this:

Sure, the time frame between the explosion and the Nen CPR is the biggest source of disbelief, but imo for a story that revolves around a powerful magic system, this kind of scientific inaccuracy really isn't anything to be upset about (3 minutes vs. 30 minutes, it's just a detail). Togashi could have revived him right after the explosion, and Hisoka could have probably escaped in all that chaos, and still kill Shalnark and Kortopi afterwards. It would not have impacted the story in any major way, but it would have probably been more confusing for the reader.

I do think the time frame is a valid criticism and technically a plot hole, but a minor and non-impactful one that isn't worth getting upset about (not implying that you do). Togashi probably chose to do it that way in order to make the events less confusing.

@BladersDeath ^I'm excited to see Feitan vs. Hisoka. Damn, that's going to be something.

Too bad Feitans Pain Packer can't hold a candle to Bungee gum which possesses the properties of both rubber and gum, which can also bring him back to life thanks to both of those properties.

I just don´t know how HxH fans are wanna defend it as a Seinen with no plot armor after this and the Gon incident.Nobody says it's a seinen. And "no plot armor" is the most stupid thing to say about a series. The quality of plot / writing / characters doesn't depend on that. The author can push the plot the way he wants and it sometimes looks like "plot armor". But it's not the right way to judge whether a series is good or not. Because everything, every plot twist or plot progression can be seen as "plot armor".
