All this "massaging back to life" is all good and all but how is everybody ignoring the time frame in which that was done. Bungee Gum clearly didn't keep massaging it only started it after they moved him to a hotel room which lets be real probably takes time..... and it wasn't only a heart massage but even a lung massage?
I don't think it was a "lung massage", his Nen simply pumped air into his lungs as a means of artificial ventilation. Bungee Gum is a perfect power for this kind of stuff, considering it can stick to anything and contract and all that.
But that still brings us back to the whole "time frame" window in which that was made. Like I said above at any point where bungee gum even massaged his heart and pumped air into his lungs the brain would be long dead.
I already responded to this:

Sure, the time frame between the explosion and the Nen CPR is the biggest source of disbelief, but imo for a story that revolves around a powerful magic system, this kind of scientific inaccuracy really isn't anything to be upset about (3 minutes vs. 30 minutes, it's just a detail). Togashi could have revived him right after the explosion, and Hisoka could have probably escaped in all that chaos, and still kill Shalnark and Kortopi afterwards. It would not have impacted the story in any major way, but it would have probably been more confusing for the reader.
I do think the time frame is a valid criticism and technically a plot hole, but a minor and non-impactful one that isn't worth getting upset about (not implying that you do). Togashi probably chose to do it that way in order to make the events less confusing.
