Hunter x Hunter Chapter 1 Discussion

                        Finally! I bought the first 3 volumes so I can start reading for a bit.Kite's a badass as usual.

Kite was in it so its a 5/5

Insightful after having watched the anime. I didn't expect it to be so different.

Nice beginnings, reminds me of Luffy setting sail too.



I was scared that the word "Hunter" meant we'll see a lot of animals getting killed but it doesn't seem to be the case, at least at the moment; I'll drop it if that's the case.



But for now, all good, ready for the adventure. I also like Gon's attitude, very positive and not emo when talking about his past.



On to the next one

Finally I'll be joining the journey once again from the beginning.

it was a good chapter

After the anime, finally started reading the manga from the beginning now that Togashi has returned.

The anime was peak!! So it was only a matter of time before I started reading the manga. Looking forward to all the awesome stuff yet to come!!

Yeah, it kind of is a similar start to One Piece isn't it?

It's different from the anime. Either way I liked it :)

It'll be fun to spot all other differences that may come!

Quite different than the 2011 anime in some ways. The art is a little simplistic (and I heard that at times the art is horrendous)

So many mentions, I need to reread One Piece after this one.



Also, this is a really great opening chapter looking back. No idea why the 2011 anime adaption left it out all the bits with Kite considering how much it adds to the overall story.
