characters (the main guy and girl) look just like those from beelzebub...

I was wondering when someone was gonna mention this. the main character not so much, but when they showed the main girl I was like wait, what? Wtf is Hilda doing in Sorachi's oneshot?? He must be a fan. xD

Like others have said it was very wordy, but rather enjoyable overall, even if it started to get a bit cheesey towards the end. He got struck by lightning so now he can freely use electricity? lolol well at least he doesnt try to make up some retarded reason and waste like 5 pages trying to pass it off as a science like OhGreat, theories...

Just like his other one shot, 13, Hideaki managed to combine, humor, touching moments and interesting characters to make a very entertaining storyline, its not meant to be impactful or deep, just a good read. Granted some parts were a little forced, but still very good all in all.

Im not gonna lie, I love GinTama, so im probably being biased, but people dont necessarily like this because its the same creator as GinTama, its because it follows the same makeup. Just like with GinTama, you either hate or love the setup, same here, this kind of humor isnt meant for everyone.

I quite liked it, and i would love it if the one shot was seriallized!!! ^^ (no, i have not read gintama, and actually quite forgot that it existed in the first place... =p) anyway, i liked bench too, but I like this better.

Probably cause i love sci fi and martial arts manga, espcially the martial arts ^^) but... no i loved it. I could tell that it was long, but it never occured to me that it was long because of wordiness. =p

Cybernization was quite interesting actually (if you say i was gintama brainwashed, you should think twice, i dont read or watch gintama making my say in it a bit less biased)

Agreed.  It was highly entertaining and even though the overall plot was about high school gang leaders, I loved the whole cyberbody twist that was introduced.

I like it too, despite never having read Gintama. Guess I'm in the minority *shrugs* It makes me want to go pick up Gintama though, since 2chers have been calling this a rehash of Gintama so if I like this I guess I'll like Gintama :)

Hmm I didn't really see the rehash of gintama. It was more using an existing delinquent genre and adding a cyber twist.

But if you liked it you will definitely like gintama, he has the same sense of humour, nice artwork too.

This was really bad. You people are just being fanboyish because of Gintama. Sigh.Really bad? So, by your logic, anything like this that was drawn and written well is bad? It's a one shot, not the drawn out, convoluted shonen manga that you're used to.

Anything that isn't 600 chapters is no good.

I jest, I'm a fan of gintama and also a fan of delinquent comedies, so this was a nice read for me, plus I thought it was genuinely funny:

specifically the bottom few panels when they talk about 90%.
