Man this was freaking awesome. I really want something like this to be serialized.

But seriously guys is this damn thread gonna be, "this is defiantly better than Bench," on and on?

That was great! I wouldn't mind if this was a series though. I did like 13 more than this.

Just like his other one shot, 13, Hideaki managed to combine, humor, touching moments and interesting characters to make a very entertaining storyline, its not meant to be impactful or deep, just a good read. Granted some parts were a little forced, but still very good all in all.

This. 13 was a magnificent one-shot from Sorachi-sensei, but this is definitely win. The action, and the seriousness, yet the humor was so good. I loved it. :)

Also was listening to the song that they kept mentioning. xD

Leave it up to Sorachi to take a normal delingquent story like Crows, Worst, etc and turn it into something weird and wonderful. Even with my bias towards Sorachi-sama, this story was an instant masterpiece. I loved every minute of it and it was such a fulfilling read. :D

edit* For person's who aren't accustomed to Gintama, I can see where his text-heavy pages may have been an eyesore. But no text was wasted in my opinion.

when I read I thought Onyako club is some kind of punk band. well, as expected from sorachi.

this one is a masterpiece. it's deep, serious, believeable, and simple enough.

I was surprised! I usually don't care for delinquent or sci-fi stories, but I really enjoyed this one! Much better than Kishomoto's one-shot from last week. Also if you didn't get the Baramos and Zoma things he was saying, those guys are villains from Dragon Quest 3.

I was listening to onyanko club during as well, a rather catchy song.

It's now some hours after I read it, but I'm still listening to it XD

I like it too, despite never having read Gintama. Guess I'm in the minority *shrugs*

*Joins minority* :3

All in all, an interesting and very shonen-like one shot. I would love seeing it getting serialised.

I haven't read Gintama but watched some episodes of the anime and I still like it. If Bankara has the same structure as Gintama, what's wrong with that while people like it...? ô.o

The amount of words didn't bother me at all, the whole awesomeness distracted me, I guess XD

Bench was good as well (while I neither read Naruto nor am I interested in sports manga), but this piece combined so many things that I like it better XD I liked the idea with the quotes a lot, too!
