So this is it. it is actually The End, the real ending, no more bluffing, no more trolling.

for a show that has been teasing its ending for as long as i can remember, they sure delivered.

A bit bittersweet but great nonetheless and couldnt's ask for more.

The perfect ending, it was pure gintama spirit all the way.

And now I don't know what to do without gintama in my life anymore.

Thank you Sorachi sensei !!  Thank you yorozuya !!

An end of an era for both the readers and the magazine,i am sure going to miss this series

P.s,i atleast wanted a tsukyo x gintoki moment at the end but alas, this ending was good too

Now,is there any jump series which can possibly have the potential to fill in the shoes of gintama in the future?

tsukuyo x gin was my ship too. wasnt expecting much, but a little hint of romance would have been neat. decent end, but it could have been a little more serious, as it basically told us nothing, since everything but the last couple pages was fake and just a series of jokes.

I would'nt have minded an ending like Naruto or bleach, where everyone becomes a couple at the end

Ah Man, just read the last chapter. It was perfect in every way, but that's to be expected from Hideaki sensei. I love that guy. Gintama was the only anime that blended so many emotions, and could make you laugh, even in the toughest situations. Can't wait for the last season of the anime. Seeing this story conclude in the anime, will destroy me.

No more trolling, it's really over.

I totally freaked out when the Yorozuya joined Shouyou as it reminded me the end of "Saint Seiya : the Lost Canvas" and that was only at the half of this chapter.

I wish i could see some stuff happening but some wishes cannot come true, right ?

When "Tokyo" appeared, i got scared as how long did time pass ? How was everyone going ? Some comments said "Everyone died" and "It's all in Tama's mind". I don't think it is. I think this Tokyo was fake, remember the cracks which did show Edo. If i'm right, this gorilla would have trolled us 'till the end.

My first meeting with "Gintama" was when someone told me "According to your sense of humor, you should watch Gintama". I did but i was totally lost. To make it short, that was a huge "WTF". Aliens during Edo's Period ? Are you fudging serious ? Then, there was this Jedi'stuff and it made me laughed as hell so that was a good sign i was about to like this anime.

Since then :

-  I liked so much that i bought calendar, manga, shoulder bag and watched all the episodes, movies, OVA, OAV or whatever you called that and special meeting with the Seiyuu

- I cried, laughed, stressed, smiled

- I want to know how Dango taste like

- I Smiled like a dork each time i was looking at mayonnaise (but it's over now. Being a dork is fun but only for a short time)

- I want to own a Bokken

- I want to go to Touya Lake

Anyway, i've read a few manga and Gintama is and always will be one of my favorite ever.

Thank you Gorilla-sensei. Thank you very much.

Great ending, thank you Sorachi Sensei

But the thing I'm confused about is Tama's fate, is it distant future ? if then how did she still wake up in Gengai's shop ? how did all of edo changed but Gengai still held its name after years ?

was it all a lie by Madao ? and were the Yorozuya at the end talking to Tama or Tamako calling her half asleep ? I'm super confused here

I think that was just made by madao.
