Not a fan of Gintama, but seeing how everyone loves the ending, I can already tell this is getting number 1 spot when the anime adapts that last season.

Be Forever Yorozuya.

Had a feeling it would be an open-ended, life-goes-on ending - with nonstop trolling!!

Never change, Gorilla-sensei, never change.

But we got to see Gintoki give Shouyou a proper farewell, and Shouyou witness the kind of people his disciples have become.

Now I gotta go back and reread the final "Zura janai, Katsura da!" moment.

"Now and then what i protectected has never changed" this quote from gintoki simplifies the greatness of this end, this end was perfect, Gintama was always about protecting that moments and see then casualy at the end joking and trolling is the pure esscensse of gintama  and the be forever yorozuya at the end, just pricelees.

My favorite of all time ended, i cried and laugh in this final chapter, i salute Sorachi for making such a wonderful ending

P.s. I'm happy that it did not end with a predictable ed with everyone getting married even if i ship okikagu, gintsu, kontae, sachanzenzou

Man, I'm salty that Katsura didn't get a moment with his sensei, just a blurry intercom image. The Gorilla did Katsura dirty!

Awesome last chapter full with emotional scenes and sham ending and hasegawa trolling at the end. Still felt that zura, elizabeth and madao deserved more appearances.

I'm a little disappointed that Madao didn't end back with his wife, was certainly hoping that would have at least happened.

Then that wouldn't be the Gintama we know.

This ending was beyond perfect. We got a glimpse of almost everyone on how they lived their lives before Tama woke up.

regarding the best long running shounen, sry, but there is still One Piece

This was a fantastic and poignant ending, I honestly didn't care much for the action even tho I'm sure that it's going to be hype in the anime.

The interactions and the individual character epilogue with gags and the usual randomness on the other hand were immensely powerful. They had all what made Gintama so great, a more fitting conclusion wouldn't have been possible. I really took my time to go through each panel to savour the final words and the beautiful pictures. I've been following Gintama merely for about 2 years, but I still grew extremely attached towards this endearing cast. I guess I have to give credit where credit is due and say this is probably the shounen with the strongest characters. They were colorful, I could relate to them, they made me laugh, got me excited and brought me to tears, thank you so much for creating them Sorachi-sensei.

9/10

This was the kinda ending that I was expecting the series would go for and not the Naruto and Bleach route lol

Anyway, Thank you Gorilla-sensei for working on this amazing series all these years and good look on your next work.
