Soul Eater Chapter 1 Discussion

I agree that the manga might be at least 20 percent better than the anime. The ending of the anime was no bueno :| they could have added at least a couple more episodes about what the character will do now that they have found out everything..

Time to read this and see just how different it is from the anime. Hopefully it's better than the anime.

Good first chapter, although the anime cut out Maka and Tsubaki's fanservice scenes. Manga seems more heavy on ecchi I guess.

I entered the 3 one shos of Soul Eater a while ago and no word yet..

Very nice. The very first non-prologue chapter. :D

The art gets better, I promise! By the time of the Baba Yaga arc the art manga surpasses the anime art. As the anime started sometime before that...



Actually, I'm kinda confused now. So chapter 1 is the graveyard chapter where  Maka & Black Star fight Sid? The prologue chapters (one shots) are now coincided separate from the SE manga.

I'm liking this manga.

Since I never watched the anime. (though it's on my plan to watch list).

I'm also reading the manga after watching the anime since I wanna see a different ending. I always liked this first chapter though.

The art is unique and creative

The teacher Sid is cool is zombie modo, but I prefer to see him human form, because he is a black panther.

I'm liking the art, seems a bit more ecchi than the anime, but its fine that way. :)

I started reading the manga since I was totally disappointed with the anime's ending. I'm liking it so far, the art seems different but I can get used to it. ^^

I didn't like the first chapter, the art is horrible, and the story looks like boring
