Parasyte Chapter 48 Discussion

Very emotional stuff. Tambura Reiko was a great character.



Here was a certain finality to this episode that will be hard to top.

This manga sure brings some interesting points, that was the greatest chapter so far (emotionally talking)

Sadly she died, she was a really interesting parasyte, no more interesting questions from her sigh

                Great chapter, continuing to elevate the manga beyond its ocassional shonen-ish battles to genuinely moving stuff.

what a chapter really great

That was touching, with the flashback and all!

I'm very happy with Tamiya's development: she really turned out to be a great antagonist and a great character overall. She managed to raise some fairly interesting existential questions about humanity and the parasytes, and the resolution, while not the most original, was still very satisfying and a fitting callback to the theme of motherhood and motherly love already present througout the story.



I certainly agree that this will be hard to top.
