Gantz Chapter 379 Discussion

Those flip-flopping city on lookers piss me off more than the anon chat. Those fools don't even know that Kurono used to be Da Boss when it came to fighting.



This chapter was good only because of the potential of Kurono going back to his true form but my gawd Tae didn't have so much panel time back then to get in the way. This fetish/panel-filler of showing her crying for 5 pages is lame.

*Sigh* ... Instead of focusing on the goddamn fight that's gonna decide mankind's fate, he showers us with a bunch of panels about Tae crying (didn't see that one coming) and people just being themselves (pricks).



PS: But I have to admit that the comments of the people on that chat were hilarious lol

i just finished reading Kamisama no Iutoori which is similar to Gantz in that it includes survival games. It also included people posting stuff online but did it in a much clever way, not every single chapter like gantz. It develops the world around it but this is too much in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure it was implied from the Giant's request that the fight is one-on-one. Other Gantzers maybe are too scare to face that guy since he eradicated the entire American team moment ago. They probably think that they would be in the way of Kei. Even so, the plot is very force in setting up the whole situation.
