While Izumi's more than capable of handling himself against the vampires, anyone who's in a 50-foot proximity from him is beyond unlucky. It was funny to see Kurono actually go ahead and call Izumi despite not remembering him.

Aw yeah! That train split in half! That was pretty fucking awesome! Also, it's cool to see the interaction between Nishi & Izumi. I'm curious about their past.
