phew glad i came here since i had NO idea what happened at the end.  partly because i had mistaken the name Kaede (Lucy/Nyuu) for Kanae (Kouta's sister) for the signature in that note so i was like "what? a note from his sister?" but yea this thread cleared things up.  The two twins being Lucy and Nyuu was great! (another thing i did not get at first).  "If someday I'm reborn...then I'll be a good girl when that time comes...and it would be great if I could stay by Kouta's side forever"  wee it all makes sense! anyway overall i liked the ending of the manga.  i personally thought Bando was the man...so he still being alive (although with a mechanical....?) was fine with me.   the spy and anna was a little too much imo.  i mean really the spy  wasn't shown until near the end of the manga...i didn't really care when she "died."  anna was ok i guess but what are they gonna do down there?  anyway great manga imo (only manga i actually cared to finish)  glad i took the time to read it.

This was such a depressing manga that I actually had to stop after certain times and do something else.

The ending was a bit to happy ever after, but after 106 chapters of depressing stuff, I honestly didn't mind it. I was actually glad that Bandou is still alive. He was a jerk at first but he grew on me and he doesn't seem like the type to die so easily.

As for the reincarnation of Lucy and Nyu, I hadn't thought about that at first, but now it kind of made sense.

This was a pretty good manga, but I doubt I would ever read it again.

It was alright giving everyone a happy ending, Bando just wouldn't die XD

I might check out the anime to see the difference

Was surprised by the real happy ending, mainly about Bando and the twins.

This was a rollercoaster with ups and downs but I enjoyed reading it... 7/10

Man... Those last chapters were so sad. I'm glad that Nana, Mayu and Yuka/Kouta will finally live happily (I’m more happy for Nana thought). The happy ending felt a bit too forced. The spy shouldn't have live (there was a panel will a huge splatter of blood and her screaming), Bando gets chopped in two (no problem I’m a terminator) and Anna (not sure how she could have live inside that monster). Those three characters should have stayed dead in my opinion. Chief Kurama could also have been a candidate (so many bad decision, but hey he got the manga going), but if he did die all those death would have been in vain. The story was great and the end feels satisfying especially when Kouta find the bottle, such a sad/happy moment. 10/10!

Maybe the author got fed up with all the sad crap that happened. lol. just to brighten up the story, he/she decided to make it a chessy and trite ending

While the series still gets a 10/10 from me, I felt the ending was somewhat anticlimactic in the sense that it simply didn't turn out how I wanted it to be.

Lucy reincarnating? I'm not feeling it.

I enjoyed this manga, but a lot of chapters and some of the tragedies didn't really have an impact on me like some of it before. I mean the actual ideas of who was killed, why, and where were tragic, but the way the deaths were written felt eh. Though these last few chapters did make me feel sad.
