I kind of got the hunch that he is something like those dragonkin things they were talking about a while back that the Organization fights on the mainland since he is never shocked and always seems to find people that are hidden

As usual, great chapter.



It is probably hopeless for Rene to escape from Riful's grasp, but I do have to admire her willingness to not give up hope. And Rubel, full of intriguing revelations from him.

If  Luciela & Rafaela awaken, I wonder how they would look.

ROFL, I forget people's names so much too.



So just for clarification.

1) Rubel is a spy for the group that's against the organization on the main land.

2) Rubel wants the organization to be crushed but doesn't wish to interfere till the org is at the brink of collapsing. Which could take years.

3) Rubel helps Clare's group and other semi-awaken claymores but at the same time doesn't want them to exist since it goes against what his side wants.



So in the end, Rubel has to die or else he will turn into Clare and crew's new enemy.

If Riful can awake Rafaela, it might have a balance w/n.. or can match up Priscilla maybe

Luciela is DEAD



Rafaela, for all practical purposes, is DEAD.*



*Technically, Rafaela (her mind) lives on in Clare's head.



We call this NEW being/entity, the Destroyer. It is NOT Rafaela NOR Luciela. It is its own independant and individual being/entity of its own.

They are easy pickings for the organization? i hope not.. i want the organization to die.

well i thought rubel might be good but in turn he just turns out to be a spy. interesting twist, but he still wants clare and them to die. im glad clare can see through his deception with all the info he is giving them.  

Interesting developments revealed in this chapter.  Now I want to know about the mainland more.

Haha, what a sneaky little schemer Rubel is! I always expected something of the sort about him ever since I saw his cunning smile in the first volumes :) With all these great conspiracies at work and now even some spy business the series is starting to remind Metal Gear Solid more and more (Rubel would be Ocelot lol ^^)
