This is gross. I don't care how 'adult' Mavis was, she is biologically 13.

This whole chapter was just disturbing.

First off its fiction. Secondly...so is Mavis just never supposed to have had a family or settle down for the rest of existence just because her body was immortal and un-aging? She was mentally 24 years old at the time, even if her body physically wasn't.

Lol. Attempting to justify it doesn't make it any less gross.

Saying its gross doesn't add anything either. If you can't separate fiction from reality in your head then I don't know why you're reading manga in general because for you it must be a constant negative experience. Fairy Tail isn't the first series to have immortal characters that look much younger than they actually are, and it won't be the last either.

What? Lol.

So just because something is fictional, I shouldn't be allowed to qualify it as gross? Lol. I shouldn't be cringing if people get their limbs chopped off just because it's fiction? I shouldn't be grossed out that a biologically adult male fucked a biological 13 year old and knocked her up? Entertainment isn't done correctly unless it evokes a form of emotion in you, be it happiness, sadness, disgust, anger, etc.

I'm not getting into this with you as your statement is blatantly ridiculous.

August is now a dragneel wtf lmao, and Larcade is an ehterious but apparently can use magic haha

August beaten by fucking posthetic arm, and now is basically a kakashi clone with the copier of magic. So annoying how he got dehyped and shat on.

it's so bad Mashima writing turned out to be. THere was a time I looked forward to reading this manga.

I don't know why people are saying this is a good chapter. It's terrible!

Sorry people can have different opinions. I know, what a terrible world right?

I'm honestly curious why people like this (not trying to bait/insult or anything, just honestly curious)

think back after precht said that mavis still harbouring a life, it was a foreshadow to the fact that there is a child precht "found" and then abandoned. turned out that child that was harboured in mavis' body was august. nice foreshadow, hiro-sensei

That was only a chapter ago lol

You really call that nice forshadowing when it was forshadowed in the last chapter? C'mon..

Don't know why you quoted me. I can turn your question back around on you and ask why are you here if you don't like the series?

Well, what Gildarts figured out actually makes sense. Huh. I'm actually kind of satisfied with how the fight is going so far. There are other fights that I liked in Fairy Tail but the recent ones weren't making sense to me, at all. Also August's revelation was bound to happen, no wonder why he was not so happy with Larcade and kept talking about love and the " defeated by the hands of his mother" part now makes complete sense. Overall, I quite enjoyed this chapter, it was one of the better ones as of late. I'm not going to get my hopes up, but I am looking forward to upcoming chapters.

Wasn't expecting August to the the child of Zeref but thinking about it now that child wouldn't be much younger than Makarov so it would make more sense for him to be quite old at this point and Larcade is far to young.

The August vs Gildarts fight was OK. Gildarts figured out August's magic, he noticed that August negated his Crush and Cana's Fairy Glitter but dodged Canna's cards. He realises that August negates and copies spells but not when it is holder type magic. Gildarts then punched August with his prosthetic arm and blasted him.

Looking back, did August have any interaction with Mavis at all.

No but he did say "His Majesty's Child If he were to be defeated, it could only be by the hands of his mother" to Jellal. Which at the time Larcade was fighting Kagura so  Mavis was the one who was expected to beat him not Sting.

Given what we know now Augusts feelings for Mavis are as Stong as they're for Zeref so had he met her, he would have given up.
