Yeah, but when she is half dead is when Erza powers up, I think the best single panel in fairy tail was when Ezra scared her reincarnated foes back to death by reminding them of this.



My guess is that she is going to unseal the magic in her right eye - the magic she inherited from her mother but that Makarov and Porlyusica sealed to protect her.  It would require a little re-conning, but not that much, and it suits the mood of the daughter proving herself superior to her mother.  I would take it a step further and speculate that Ezra has her own dragon nature that she is going to embrace.  This would be supported by her saying she could sympathize with her mother.     



Also, she kind of has the temperament of a (good) dragon, even from the start.  She has always been the nurturing, protecting, disciplinarian of Fairy Tail.  



Irene has been whining the entire time, so it would be cosmic justice that her daughter actually suffered even more than her and managed to overcome the barrier that Irene could not.



Edit: dropping a meteor on someone's head is not proprietary.  Been done countless times before, will be done countless times after this.  The meteor is just an obstacle for Ezra to show her OPness.  And may it be a glorious OP.

Um I feel like the more I read this arc, the more disappointed I get. The Spriggan 12 were hyped up as the toughest, dangerous, extremely skilled and powerful mages around and at first I believed the hype after first seeing Ajeel Ramal fight off fairy tail as they fled the Alvarez Empire and Brandish turn an island to a rock. I was especially intrigued and fascinated by Irene Belserion, but her fight with Erza and Wendy and pretty much the "fight for fairy tail" has been a bit of a let down, people die, everyone cry then they come back life (referring to fairy tail members), I thought this arc was going to change the mood of the series and be a lot darker. I was ready to see the series "grow up"and even have some deaths since it might as well be the last(eventful) arc. Every fight just shows how lame the spriggan 12 is now and they're all anticlimactic. I'm especially disappointed in how Irene is treated, she's supposed to be an old, wise and powerful mage but you would have to be dumb enough to think switching bodies with a person who also happens to use the same kind of magic you use without first defeating them and still have another person you're fighting to be a good idea. Now she's a dragon, so basically more power boast only to be defeated by the power of "friendship". The worst part is when most of fairy tail fought and defeated their opponents they didn't kill or wound them so they presented no threats in the immediate future....

what a cringey dialogue.. sigh

Queen of the Fairies vs the Queen of the Dragons, that's a good way to put it :D 10/10

Holy earth, since she transformed into her dragon mode and blew up her cover, i dont think Acnologia is going to mess up with her when he comes back, i can see him coming in the couple few chapters



the next chapter's title is "Show me your smile", i think it refers to Natsu and Igneel's conversation, since its been more than 2 chapters we didnt get any news about whats happening to him, or he wakes up and sees Lucy crying and tell her that or something like that

This chapter was like Dragon Ball + One Punch Man.



It's a bit too much though. Almost all of her bones are shattered, but leaps right into the meteorite with a single hand to stop it.



This meteorite thing has another big flaw:

If she slices up the meteorite, wouldn't it just become even deadlier? As far as I know  lots of small meteorites are more dangerous than a large one. It's been said in real-life and even in animes too. So.. Perhaps she turns it into dust, or slices it up into smaller ones, and everyone on the battlefield stops fighting to slice up the smaller meteorites into even smaller ones?



I just really want this fight to be over, so much nonsense...

That chapter was so damn hype!!!! Loved it 10/10

My prediction is that Erza will stop/destroy the meteor but then someone else will have to take over the fight. Her bones are toast and Eileen is still looking pretty healthy.



Wendy wakes up and pulls a Dragon Force, maybe? Although I'm not sure it would be enough anyway.

YES! I was thinking this as I read that chapter too, :D . Good, now this theory has a following.

Just as long as the ending isn't super basic, ie. Erza wins against the meteor and Irene is forgiven.

Not with NAKAMA power. The reason she will destroy the meteorite, is because she IS ERZA. No reason to say anything other than that.Oh, you are totally right. I almost forgot that.
