Next week!
Erza will be dying after taking on the meteor, Irene will pity her, swap bodies with her, Erza survives in Irene's body, Irene finally get's the body she wants and dies in it.
YES! I was thinking this as I read that chapter too, :D . Good, now this theory has a following.
Just as long as the ending isn't super basic, ie. Erza wins against the meteor and Irene is forgiven.
What´s the point of this.
That theory makes zero sense.
1. It goes against everything established between Irene and Erza. The whole biological family vs spiritual family, notion, thrown out the window.
2. It goes against everything Irene was established as and has not a single ounce of foreshadowing.
3. This would have major repercussions for Erza, both bodies look different and she would a be fucking Dragon, that transforms into a humna. Hiro barely writes his story with repercussions for the good guys and never for the Main cast. What you guys demand was never there in the series. Why would he start now instead of just delivering his predictable shit?
4. It adds zero flavor to the story if they immediately find a convenient solution afterwards to have Erza turn back into her body or look the same and if she doesn´t, which would never happen because all her marketability and her recognizeability would go poof, it adds nothing besides a changed character design, because Hiro Mashima is not an author that would go in depth with the consequences of living in someone elses body. How do i know that I read 518 chapters of this shit.
5. Now to the most retarded part of all that. Irene actively tried to do that and it failed. Why would it work now?
There theory dismissed, go home and do your homework.
