Really? Let me paint a picture in your head then. Dragons roar fire, other dragons roars lazors beams, clash explosion. Both sites facing each other arguing for 5 pages to pad the chapter.Another blast, more arguing.

Hiro hasn´t shown an ounce of creativity when it comes to his Dragons fights. Which is partially a limitation of design. You can´t draw an amazingly correographed battle when your characters have little T-rex arms or in Grandine´s case no arms at all. Objectively it makes sense to use the lazor breath instead of duking it out with biting and scratching, but lazor breaths aren´t entertaining if you just let them clash with eachother repeatdiately.
The reason lazor fights are entertaining in mecha series and Dragon Ball is because they get mixed up with multiple rockets being launched, people teleporting all over the place and hitting+punching each other. The lasers being fired are monumental highlights. Hiro has shown no interest in implementing fightning correography in his fights since the Tartaros arc and to top it off, this never was his strength to begin with.
You won´t find a single Anime list that includes a FT fight as "the most epic fight". The politics on the other hand are so barebones generic that a 3 year old would say "seen it" when witnessing it and have been already fleshed out.
