Confused. Very fucked up as well but as someone who went through the same thing with my own birth mother I have got to say well brave and we done Erza. We don't need the people who through us away like shit! I enjoyed this short but very impactful chapter. Lifts my spirits. :)

Well I didn't expect the father to be such a dick.

Irine sure had it rough T_T Makes sense why she hates humans after she got betrayed like that...

Not caring for Erza though.. I feel like she's lying or that lack of sleep/food made her crazy.

Sigh this arc has been horrible.

Firstly doesn't Eileen's backstory create a plot hole. How was ezra able to get past Freed's spell in the Laxus arc from what I've seen she 400 year's old.

Secondly this was not a backstory this was victimisation. Simply done to make us feel sorry for Eileen and justify her being a bitch just like obito.

What's the point of giving her a backstory when she will either die in the next few chapters or become irrelevant after this arc.

Glad am not the only one who thinks this chapter is BS.

Does Mashima himself even believe in what he's writing anymore? This backstory was so pointless and void of consequences it's actually pretty impressive. Literally nothing changes.

Irene suffered for 3 years yet she didn't care about herself and only wanted the baby to survive, and then after those hundred of years of being a dragon she was still thinking about the baby yet after all that she abandoned her.

That was a very sad ending to their relationship. All that effort wasted mad me really sad.

I went back to chapter 510 to see if she was the same dragon that attacked Zeref & Natsu's village but it doesn't look like it, that silhouette of that dragon looks too different.

At least we now know where Erza gets her selflessness from, whenever she gets beat up she only thinks of her guild mates instead of her own well being.

And the scar was also explained, that's an arranged marriage for you, true love doesn't always from them.

And lastly, did anyone else realize how badass Erza looked in that last panel with that new armor. Realistically though it should not help her, way too much difference in power plus Erza has been messed up multiple times during this war.

Maybe it's the perfect time for Acnologia to make an appearance again? I think only him or END could defeat Irene and August.

Is this really exciting?

Hey, I said it would be interesting not better. At least we get to see a war in FT that is not one-sided to a single faction and have consistent losses on both sides.

I don't get it.

Eileen was the queen, how could her husband have more power than her to order her jailed?

I hope it doesn't end in the 'Fairy Tail way', Eileen changing her heart at the last moment when she loses and Erza along with everyone of course forgives her.

Literally a snoozefest. Like am I suppose to care and related with Irene or something? Especially for a character who’s pretty much plot a device for Mary Sue Erza to get even more relevancy and gain even more asspull powerups?. The fight itself is going to suck in trend with most of Erza’s fights, I can’t wait till it ends. Erza: Poorly written character at best.

Im pretty sure at the end Eileen was leaving details intentionally out at the end, she explainedshe couldnt cast herself into baby Erza, but she dint explained why, and im pretty sure "because she dint have the proper magic knowledge to do that" is not the right answer

After that last post I posted. I do hope that's the case.
