The backstory of dragon slayers and the dragon festival, western dragons a sht.

Eileen invented dragon slayers and now is turning into dragon.

i predict that her creation of all these rampaging dragons/slayers will lead the story into why acnologia kills dragons and is also a a victim/hero of his own story. cuz everybodys a victim.

The writing for Daenerys is generally not good, it´s worse in the TV show, but even in the book it´s questionable. She´s among the most two faced uncertain incompetent characters (which mind you is natural given her 15 years of age in the books) in the whole story. The only reason anything worked out for her was always through plot convenience or Deus ex machina.



Therefore your comparision is actually a perfect fit.

That´s 100% wrong I just started reading this series when the plot and the fights were like this:







Before it turned to  80% this:





with only 20% of the good stuff, like backstories and such.

Actually enjoying this backstory and wondering how it all ties into together with Acnologia because supposedly he was a dragon slayer taught dragon slayer magic.

Well now we did find out more about the war involving dragons. The Mother of Dragon Slayers though...I bet that's not going to be easy to accept as the truth.

So a character no one gives a shit about becomes with a snap of the finger the explanation for the most discussed plot point in the entire series, and no information is given about how that actually works besides "just give me your power fam". Absolutely brilliant. I also like how the biggest conflict of the whole story was solved in 3 pages.
