What I mean, is Mashima has taken away every other appearance change we've had, as a result of something.
-Gray's bad-ass new look/result of the curse, and can revert back.
-Wendy's short hair/restored by Cancer.
-Natsu's long hair, and arm-bandages/Restored to normal length, and the bandages are no longer there.
It was more of a sarcastic remark, really. And as for the scar he got from Rogue, that was so long ago, that I kind of forgot he had another one, lol.
Gray still uses that new badass look when he's in half demon DeS mode tho.
Something he did against Ajeel.

If this was one of nine gates of tartaros in this chapter, the guild would be already be dead and the said demon would be just searching for mavis crystal. That just shows what an unimaginable downgrade the spriggans are in terms of villain quality. They are just padding/filler till Acknologia The Fujoshi Dragon arrives to fight Natsu.
Also half the chapter spent on the utterly generic monologue about drinking and elderly? Wut.
Anyway lets see what kind of convenient asspull is used to oneshot this dude. We already had Lucy conveniently surviving his attack and the dude conveniently chosing not to off anyone and just blabber on and on. What is next? Natsu gets new powers out of nowhere?
Can't wait for this arc to end. The one thing I will wonder forever is if we will ever get Lucy to actually fight again....So far all she has been this arc is a prop to Natsu. Even her sacrifices in Tartaros got undone and her character arc stolen.
Dude this happens every time in every shounen manga. You can't expect high-quality writing in every arc and very few like Berserk can actually do that.
We can atleast get something new for a change. Not the same old writing. NaLu tag team feast is just a complete and visual bore. Have Lucy do something for a change. Not have her be saved like a typical damsel n distress.
Berserk is a seinen.

Natsu, barely a day passed, after his trmendous fight against Zeref and being a somewhat tumor treatment is already 100% ready to fight? Tch, how amazing.
Natsu who will fight Zeref twice in this Arc (one is already done), fight Acnologia and god knows how many he will fighr once he becomes END is now fighting a Spriggan? Jesus, Hiro just make Natsu one shot Jacob just to give him an even bigger spotlight. Like he hasnt any...
I guess Hiro misses his lil baby Nastu.
Anyways, Jacob was a pleasent Spriggan and him walking in the front door of the Guild asking for booze was hilarious. He also hyped August even more.
Lucy fighting is gladly welcomed but I prefer if it was Lucy + Brandish and not Natsu.

Lol at Hiro shitting on Lucy even more; basically confirming Lucy can only be relevant when she gets a sneak attack on someone, but when she's in front of them, she needs to be saved by Natsu.
Despite all that, my God, Lucy was so hng this chapter.
