And of course Lucy gets saved, because we can't have her do anything important. And of course Natsu got better just in time to fight this dude. Will Agent47KnockOff get one-punched like a god?



If this was one of nine gates of tartaros in this chapter, the guild would be already be dead and the said demon would be just searching for mavis crystal. That just shows what an unimaginable downgrade the spriggans are in terms of villain quality. They are just padding/filler till Acknologia The Fujoshi Dragon arrives to fight Natsu.





Also half the chapter spent on the utterly generic monologue about drinking and elderly? Wut.



Anyway lets see what kind of convenient asspull is used to oneshot this dude. We already had Lucy conveniently surviving his attack and the dude conveniently chosing not to off anyone and just blabber on and on. What is next? Natsu gets new powers out of nowhere?





Can't wait for this arc to end. The one thing I will wonder forever is if we will ever get Lucy to actually fight again....So far all she has been this arc is a prop to Natsu. Even her sacrifices in Tartaros got undone and her character arc stolen.



Dude this happens every time in every shounen manga. You can't expect high-quality writing in every arc and very few like Berserk can actually do that.

Lucy was pretty badass and so was Jacob however Natsu is going to have a field day with him

Interesting chapter... now that Ntasu is back, it's almost a fact that Jacob will lose... I just hope it to be and awesome fight. But again, Lucy's spirits and Natsu waking up just in time is way to convenient.

Really loved this chapter. Jacob was smug as all hell walking into Fairy Tail and playing with everyone like that, which I loved. It's nuts he was even able to hurt Mavis'  ghost body. If the villains aren't smug, it won't be as satisfying when they're brought down.



I'm glad Natsu finally woke up so he can get a proper battle this arc that doesn't involve fighting Zeref or one shotting his opponent, but since Lucy is there as well, it's probably going to take both of them working together along with tactics from Mavis to stand any chance against Jacob's assassination skills. Natsu may have had a power that stood up to Zeref, but that's gone now. Also I want to add that Natsu's new face scar makes him look even more badass.

1/5 boring predictable chapter reasoning is obvious recycled plot.



I got surprised once by Hiro recently so maybe he´ll do it again but I´m guessing it´s  his typical missleading again.

Just read the korean scans, Jacob is quite OP but the spoilers mentioned something about August but he wasn't shown - most likely referred to in the text (which I can't understand at all since this was Korean xD). Happy covering naked Natsu from Lucy xD! That Natsu scar and badass face at the end <3

First get his ass kicked huh? No I'm expecting a onesided stomp until August shows up. Assassin's are the type that are at their most lethal when in the shadows, aiming to kill and get out before even noticed. Meaning that if they get found out and they get attacked head on, they don't have that high survivabilty. Jacob is a glass cannon like that.
